An Unwanted Fate

An Unwanted Fate

Maybe I could swallow my pride enough to ask Jesse to lend extra protection for their pack in the meantime. I couldn’t think about all the potential outcomes of my actions anymore. Opening my eyes, I found myself still enveloped in darkness, trapped in nothingness. Was this what death felt like? Goddess, am I dead? I knew rejecting them would be painful, but I was prepared for my own suffering. It was something I had grown accustomed to, expected even. I never believed it would actually kill me.

love the fact the author helps the readers feel all those emotions we feel in relationships from the happiest to the most self loathing, but gives you that hope that of course love will conquer, even when we don't feel we deserve it!

the story is so human. focusing on emotions. the people are highly emotional beings especially Kat and Reegan and so they make so many mistakes that seems idiotic. though the dealing with emotions could be better. This story is captivating and steamy and I just couldn't put it down

A wish to live or die

A wish to live or die

Maybe they'll also have a beautiful end after all this suffering. "Make a wish." He said suddenly. She looked astonished at his sudden suggestion. "What?" She scoffed and gave him a weird look. "Make a wish." He repeated as he nodded, sounding pretty serious. "...ok..." She said and found his request a little weird. They both closed their eyes and made a wish. She bit her lower lip and clenched her fists. "I wish to die." She wished, a torturous expression on her face, as she couldn't bear the pain anymore. His consoling made her feel better but she didn't have any reason to live on.

CEO MEETS HER

CEO MEETS HER

Dinner was supposed to bring people together. Tonight's dinner was not the typical one I have encountered. I can sense the stabbing eyes and airy energy in my face. Their piercing eyes caused me discomfort. The idea of me being present here was a mistake. I wished to end my contract with Alexander, but it was too late. I wanted to vanish onto my seat and forget about that feeling and forget about the money. A warm hand touched mine. Alexander's tender glance at me gave me a sense of safety. I tried to regain my composure once more and prayed to be alive after this.

Death & Life

Death & Life

They couldn't have been more than fifteen years of age and were both intelligent looking. "We are the new fates, brothers Jackson and Nowell and you two are Rai, the Grim Reaper and Sebastian, a Death & Life soul cultivator, it's a pleasure to make your acquaintance," Jackson stated and presented his open hand to us as he stepped closer. Rai shook it first and said we needed to clean up the mess. "We will deal with it, you both enjoy your newly engaged selves," Jackson grinned. We both thanked them profusely and stood back as they waved their hands over the corpses and the bodies and blood all vanished.

Yeah everything looks all pristine and innocent during the day, but night time around the packhouse can be pretty fucking terrifying. And I’m the reaper himself. Deadline Is Death

Deadline Is Death

The blood had nearly stopped flowing. The position of his right hand was strange; his fingers curled as if trying to grasp something. I crouched down. In his open left hand, written crookedly in blood, was a single word: "Run". 02:14. One minute left. 02:15 came. Nothing happened. I was still alive. "Substitute death successful. Eric Dawson was killed at 2:14 in Parking Lot C. Remaining loop time: 48 hours. "Go to Parking Lot C. There’s something for you."

The Choice of Death

The Choice of Death

A single tear slipped down my cheek before it vanished into nothing. Eventually, the screaming stopped. Moments later, a fire ignited inside the warehouse, its flames spreading rapidly. Trinity had ended her own life. Without Nathan, Heath Group didn't last long. The company was devoured within days. When Jake was handling Nathan's affairs, he could only sigh. I had no more regrets. With nothing left to tether me to this world, I disappeared into the void.

Rebirth of the mad luna

Rebirth of the mad luna

"She's brain dead. Time of declaration- 11:43 p.m." Everyone walked out of the room one by one while Violet was crying somewhere in the background, with Kirk consoling her. A few minutes after they were all gone, a nurse walked in and covered me with white cloth. She walked out right after that, but then someone entered almost immediately. I knew it wasn't the nurse because the footsteps were heavy. The figure walked up and stood right next to my bed. He was close. Too close. And then the deep, male voice said. "You deserve this. Once you are gone... immortality will be mine."
