The Danvers Manor Dining Hall at around 8 PM. The grand dining hall was bathed in a soft light from the crystal chandelier above. The long dining table, draped in white linen, held polished silverware and neatly arranged porcelain plates. The faint clinking of cutlery and quiet conversation filled the air as servants moved to and from the table, serving an assortment of fine dishes.

He sat next to me, his hand brushing a few strands of my hair behind my ear before whispering, "You don't have to feel uncomfortable. They're all happy to see you." I exhaled. And, looking around, I realized he was right. There was no pretense in their smiles, no forced politeness. Just natural beings doing their thing. The dining table itself was a masterpiece of craftsmanship. A massive slab of polished walnut. The table settings were impeccable, with fine bone china, sterling silver flatware, and crystal glasses that sang with the lightest touch. Fresh flowers arranged in silver vases formed a centerpiece that perfumed the air with a subtle fragrance.

Then they to come. They complied and went through the larger curtain of beads and arrived at a dining room. The dining was exquisite. It was made to mimic a mediaeval setting. The chairs were made of Frost glass, so it appeared as though they were frozen. The table was made of wood but painted in a bluish hue that appeared like the sky. The entire surrounding had effigies of wolves around them, all of them arranged in a chaotic manner. They thanked Arabella and they all sat down to eat.

The soft glow of the crystal chandelier shimmered above the long dining table made of aged teakwood. Porcelain plates sat neatly atop an ivory embroidered tablecloth. The aroma of roasted meat and creamy soup lingered in the air—yet none of it was truly appetizing. Tension had seasoned the evening more than any spice could.

Every piece of furniture and decor, from the oversized trellis swing, which served as their dessert station, to the outdoor bar with a barrel base and wood slab top, to the solid oak grazing table where Willow and Colleen were situated, had been carefully selected. The showstopper, though, was the long, farmhouse twenty-seater table, in the thatched lapa on the far end of the yard. The set of mismatched hanging lanterns, paired with delicate greenery and textured floral arrangements in muted shades of blush and ivory, added an instant cosy feel to the tablescape. "Is it everything you wanted?" Andrei asked, glancing at her.

I think they took his silence in a different way. "People, food is being served in a few minutes. Please follow me to the dining area." I announced. They all got up to follow me. I think the flower boys and Jake and Charlie are getting well together. Now the matter to ponder upon is whether it is good for me or not. Our dining room was basically the room next to the kitchen with a long table table which we rarely used. The table was 16 seater and was quite nice. Mum had decided to give it wooden flooring so that it has a homely look.

The scene changed to the dining room. The table itself was massive, a polished mahogany table that gleamed under the candles, set with crisp white linen, heavy silver cutlery, and china so delicate it looked like it might crack if you stared too hard. Tall windows lined one side, but the thick curtains were drawn against the night, making everything feel closed in. The air smelled faintly of roast meat and wine, but it did nothing to ease the knot in my stomach. It looked just like those grand dining rooms you see in castles in movies. I could guess this was the official dining room used for dining parties.

"Oh, you'll see. I'm sure you'll be wowed when you see it." "Wow." He heard suddenly from beside him. He looked to his right to see Isabelle frozen as her eyes were glued on the table for two. It was a candle-lit dinner with two empty white plates sitting on each side of the table and the rose petals were spread off the white tablecloth spread on the table and even on the white plates. Two hurricane lamp holders sat in the middle of the table with the already-lit red candles shining down on the plates. On the plates laid horizontally were cloth napkins instead of the normal paper ones rolled into special designs with decorative napkin holders.

The clink of silverware echoed softly in the grand dining room, the long-polished mahogany table stretching between them, heavy with food that no one seemed eager to touch. Platters of roasted meat, crystal bowls of salad, and delicate pastries sat cooling under the chandeliers, untouched as though they were more display than nourishment.
