Robin froze, his eyes flicking between the King and Lenox, still crumpled on the cold floor. The King made no move to approach him immediately but instead stood, watching his son with an unreadable expression. He studied him for a full minute, his gaze cold but calculating, before finally speaking again.
“Take him to his room. No need to call a doctor. Let him rest,” the King said dismissively, as if Lenox's sudden collapse were nothing more than a mere inconvenience. Without another word, he turned and walked out of the room, leaving Robin standing there, utterly stunned.
