The third vampire wavered until he was transparent, dissolving into droplets of mist streaking toward Dobah. To Blenda's horror, she could see a vine creeping along the ground, a long deadly tendril reaching out toward Dobah's ankle. She pressed a hand to her mouth to keep from screaming. It wouldn't do to distract him. She had to trust in the fact that he was very experienced and would see each and every threat directed at him even though the attacks had been launched simultaneously. "Get home now!" Dobah's voice issued the command in her mind. It was sent sharply and with a strong underlying compulsion to obey. She knew he had no energy to spare to force his will on her.

There is still a trace of fear on Alice's face who now moves away from us and tucks herself into the end of the sofa. "If he is domesticated, I think it won't be a problem," Gen said. I noticed that Denver was staring intently at Fyro, who seemed surprised as well. Wait, what exactly is this Fyro? monster? Dragon? She managed to run but David was still chasing her from behind which made Sabrina scream in fear. Until finally suddenly the white light that dazzled her eyes awakened Sabrina.

"...lan? Dylan... DYLAN!" Dorry's lowered scream finally got to him and his tired eyes creaked to the side to see her with a widened gaze. "Dude are you trying to kill us all?" "Huh?" "You mixed in the wrong chemical and didn't realize it's been foaming up? What's got you so distracted?" Dylan blinked down to his side of the table and his eyes widened in shock, Dorry seemed to have cooled off the built up foam that now sizzled out but if it had gone on any longer things might've ended real bad.

She stumbled over a root, catching herself just in time, a whimper escaping her throat. Her nightshirt clung to her body, damp with sweat and forest dew.

Across her back, two interlinked circles—⚯. They glowed for a heartbeat, casting eerie shadows on the mud walls, before fading into the brown of her skin, leaving behind only the faint, raised ridges of a scar. “Abomination,” someone whispered in the shadows. “Silence!” The voice came from the doorway. The crowd outside parted, bowing their heads in fear and reverence. Even young Baraka bowed, peeking through the rain.
