It was a humiliation so profound it felt physical. A sudden, sharp pain flared behind my eyes, a dizzying throb that made me wince. My head spun, the room lurching around me. I squeezed my eyes shut, trying to steady myself, and in the darkness behind my eyelids, a fragmented memory flashed, vivid and brutally clear.

CRACK! Again, and again, and again. The rhythmic blows were relentless, a relentless assault on my senses. My head swam, the world blurring into a sensation of pain and the lingering scent of damp earth. The burning sensation intensified, spreading, consuming. The distinction between the sharp, agonizing pain and the strange, almost unbearable intensity that edged into something akin to pleasure began to dissolve.

It had a red color around it which means it was indeed hurting him. But then, it was likewise surprising at how strong he was enduring the pain. “Does it hurt you?” Doctor James asked and he nodded his head. “Very much or a little?” “In between.” Diego replied with a shrug. Doctor James gave him a pain relief drug which he mixed into a little amount of water. As soon as Diego drank it, his face changed to a disgusted one. “That tastes bitter.” Doctor James nodded with a smile. “Bitter things tend to work faster than the sweeter ones.”

When it finally touched him the expression on his face changed quickly. He let out a scream of pain and he curled up into a ball on the ground.

She stumbled and nearly fell onto her bed, but the pain was relentless. Sophia's suffering was excruciating, and she couldn't bear it. It felt as if something were gnawing at her from within. She cried out, her screams covered by the blaring music. The room seemed to spin as she tried to get to her feet, but her legs were like jelly, unable to support her due to the intense pain.

Nora's POV The pain swam through my body like a relentless wave, leaving no part untouched. It was as if a thousand icy fingers of agony wrapped around my every nerve and muscle, and I felt their bitter grip tighten with each passing moment. My lower abdomen ached with a dull, persistent throb that refused to be ignored. It was a heavy, gnawing pain that sent discomfort radiating through my core. With each pulsation, it seemed to drag me further into its wicked embrace, making me feel weighed down and helpless.
