Chapter Two: SIGHTING Later that night, Rojean dolled up to go to a place that was both a nightclub and a bar that everyone was talking about. She was old enough, for sure, especially if she was going to get married soon. But she was never the kind of person to go out on the weekends, to a club or even a bar and always preferred the comfort of their apartment which Lucas didn’t mind at all even when he wanted to go out. She was in a cream coloured off shoulder dress which stopped mid-thigh and hugged her curves beautifully.

Ranfik was unsure how to approach the subject, while Sharmila followed his gaze and noticed the potted carnation, mistakenly thinking they were roses. She curiously inquired, "Are these roses from Ms. Chronos's boyfriend? They're so beautiful." Frowning, Ranfik corrected her, "These aren't roses; they're carnations. Perhaps she just keeps them because they're pretty." Once Ranfik finished speaking, he fell into a contemplative silence. His eyes fixated on the potted carnations that resembled roses, and a profound emotion seemed to well up within him.

The well dressed Carmen and Diana walked off smugly to wait for their turns. Carmen was dressed in a light pink gown that accentuated her petite, adorable character while Diana was to perform a classical dance for the talent show later, so she had prepared a glamorous traditional gown for the runway.

She smiles once more and continues her artwork, she began telling me what each flower was. I soon found out that she had added white Alstroemeria's, pink Carnation's, pink Gypsophilia's, pink Lillies and pink Rose Wham's. She said that this arrangement would suit her loving personality perfectly and once I looked at the finished product I knew exactly why.

The scent of fresh roses and lavender filled the air, calming her nerves as she prepared for the most significant day of her life.
