I never believed this tale since this was just a made up tale for small children’s to keep them away from wandering in night, but I think my understanding was proven wrong as this awful looking lady looks just like the Marduktema mentioned in tales. Chapter Three – The Song of the Dragons (Fred’s POV) I had never seen anything like this before. Drake’s lair was a world of its own—vast, endless, and pulsing with power. The stone walls weren’t ordinary rock; they shimmered faintly, like veins of molten gold ran beneath the surface. Giant pillars stretched toward the ceiling, some carved with ancient symbols, others scarred by claw marks so deep I could only imagine the battles that caused them.

His roar snapped my eyes open and had my heart pounding. He transformed into a snake like creature my face scrunched up in confusion but as it dawned on me who this was, he was coming straight at us. The heart still in his hand but too much fury had overtaken him. His eyes, black as the night, he wasn't in control. I had no time to think when Daydra gripped the sides of her head and snapped her face up and at the creature running at us. Obvious to me her memory was not back yet because she didn't recognise who this is before a monstrous scream ripped through the cell aimed directly at him.

So, wherever one was found, a vampire was close by.
