Nancy sat at the large table where she had watched Derek eat a couple of nights ago, she was kneading a dough for pastries. She could hear the conversation between the two other women there, but her thoughts were not with them. Last night she had slept like a log of wood, and in her sleep she was plagued by terrible dreams, dreams about Derek. She didn’t exactly know if they were terrible, knowing that his death would help her out of this marriage trap. But even as she thought of the horrors of that dream then, she could hear her heart pounding loudly against her chest.

“You all right?” “Yeah. It was just a dream.” James closed his eyes. “You were screaming bloody murder and your back was arched all crazy.” “Don’t worry about it,” James said, trying to diffuse his roommate’s seriousness. “I usually have the dream about once a week. Sorry to wake you.” Tres took a seat on the edge of the twin-size bed. “What’s it about?” James nodded at the single poster that graced his side of the room. When Tres looked up at it, he said, “Try to imagine falling through that. Except you’re like, thousands of feet up and the dream always ends in your death.”

Daniel cannot sleep well on that night and his eyes still wide open. He looked at the ceiling and thought about the woman whom he met at the coffee shop. He did not know what he felt at that time, but she just made him amazed by the beauty of her at the first sign. "Who are you, beautiful lady? Why did I feel that I knew you and have met you before? Did we meet somewhere or—" Daniel suddenly remembered his dream six months ago. A wedding dream in which the events and also the looks of the bride were so real.

I had been dismissed from training for the next few sessions as the Beta and Clarice prepared for my assessment, meaning I had the whole next day to spend with Mains searching for the missing journal. I shoved the dry crumbs of my sandwich in my mouth, determined to make it an early night and soak in as much sleep as possible. I disregarded it and snuggled into the seats once more, ready to sail into another dream planet. The tugging continued, followed by a man's voice that sounded suspiciously like the driver. There was a long pause in which his last statement was enough to slip me out of dream land and into reality. A loud yawn slipped past my lips before I could stop it. The stretch that followed, released the tension from my shoulders and body. When I deigned to open my eyes, the driver was standing agape, looking at me with wide bulging eyes.

I murmured "You tried your best" A month had passed after Lily's death. Home never felt like home. School even got worse, news started spreading about me having dreams and how it actually happens. Everyone avoided me, no one wanted to associate with me, except for kelly and Liam. I felt like an outcast. I wanted to drop out of school but then I remembered my mom did everything to make me be in school, I was not going to throw that away. i haven't had any dreams since then and it really made me worried and alot scared than before.
