I noticed the areas infested with worms and dug my claws into them, making his body recoil violently. Enraged, Hunter roared. I placed Rigan in a corner near a rock and launched myself back into direct combat. The sounds of battle echoed through the clearing. I roared again when I saw Hunter try to rush toward the pup. I positioned myself as a shield, but his poisoned claws plunged into my abdomen. Roaring in pain, I grabbed his hand, holding it in place, and with a brutal strike, I drove my fist into his chest, tearing open a hole in his rotting, half-decayed flesh. I ripped out Dante’s heart—the body possessed by Hunter.

Curious, I asked the others, "Why is her dungeon open 24/7 anyway?" The siren, holding onto her one surviving bag of spicy human jerky, explained while hissing from the heat. "She's waiting for someone." "Who?" "The previous boss of her dungeon, the only SSSSS-rank boss in the entire game." The crow flapped its wings excitedly. "I know, I know! I was lucky enough to meet her once when I was young. She gave me a bottle of super glue. Ever since then, my eyeballs don't fall out nearly as much!

I whispered, "Bunny, that's the guy who burned my hair before. He's dangerous." "He burned your hair?" The ragdoll's voice dropped for the first time. I nodded. "Don't you remember? My hair caught fire, and I fell into the river. You pulled me out." It went quiet. The player squinted at my face and cursed, "Damn. A monster? That car was supposed to be carrying a player. "Killing a monster doesn't drop anything. All that effort setting up this trap for nothing." I knew how this worked. Players could kill each other in dungeons. Whoever died dropped their items.

There was no place better than the dungeon to master his newly received skill. He used his stealth as he peeked at the party who were fighting the monsters on the fifteenth floor. The party had 2 mages, 1 swordsman, 1 spearman, and 1 healer. He quietly watched them as he took in every spell that both the mages uses. “Even adventurers from other regions come here for the experience. I think I chose the best place, right Blur?” Dio brushed Blur’s fur with his fingers and his bond purred in response.

At this time, Madchen realized she was in trouble, or she was crazy, maybe a little of both. All of a sudden, a commotion erupted. A man with a gun was pushing through the crowd of patrons, headed straight for Drago and her. “Watch out,” Adam yelled. The unknown assailant pointed his gun, aiming for Drago’s head, Madchen instinctively pushed him, nearly blocking the shot. Instead of hitting the intended target, the bullet ripped through Drago’s left arm, and he fell to the floor. All around her, Madchen could hear muffled voices,including the screams of the gunman as he was wrestled to the floor. Kimber stood by, watching the ensuing chaos in horror.

All three of them looked at me weirdly, probably thinking what business a cry baby had being there in the first place. I managed to say hello to them and introduce myself without my last name just to break the ice. In exchange, they did the same. One of the hunter's name was Akio. The next hunter's name was Miguel, and the third hunter's name was Danjuma; he asked me to call him Dan. There was no female in the house, and I figured it was because ruthless Ruth would not allow it. "I asked them to come so you could have sparring partners," Gavin said, and I smiled at the guys.

They were his allies in this game, and together, they would execute the plan flawlessly. Little did Horacio know that he was walking into a carefully orchestrated trap.
