Soon the car turned into the long winding path towards the castle. As they neared, Amelia noticed the four thick, round towers that dominated the skyline of the Waerham Castle. The massive grey walls made from stones of varying sizes and shapes appeared unique. The moonlight shone on its walls bathing its silvery grey stones. The wall rose high as if touching the clouds that occasionally threatened the earth with lightning.

I’m glad to help.” She walked in dressed in a pair of jeans, a floral shirt, and boots, similar to what I was wearing. I was sure she had come prepared to fight, too. “Thank you so much for this.” I pulled her in for a quick hug. “After Kellen locks down the castle, he’ll come stay with you.” Emma nodded. “That’s fine.” She pointed down the hallway. “Is Sirena in the family room?”
