My body feels keyed too high, instincts scraping against restraint. We head for Club Nocturne. Owned by Eric Olderman. Lady Carrow's cousin. When we get there, Eric appears almost immediately, materializing from the crowd like mist. Tall, lean, with the sharp features of his mixed heritage, vampire speed tempered by human warmth. He bows slightly, modern etiquette blending with old respect. "Your Majesty," he greets, voice smooth over the music. "An honor, as always. The booth is prepared. Anything else? A vintage from the reserves?"

Eric smiled as he went closer to them, Jaden giving him way. Jaden didn’t stop him. He didn’t speak. He simply stood in the shadows as Eric unleashed his wolf, no one had ever seen him like this. He didn’t shift fully. Just enough for his claws to sharpen, for his jaw to lengthen. The screams came fast. Bones cracked accompanied by flesh tearing. But the man didn’t talk, He just laughed between screams. Until finally, his body gave out. His neck snapped and his ribs collapsed inward. Eric stepped back, breathing heavily, blood soaking his arms and dripping to the floor. It splattered across his face like war paint.

His face changed immediately to one of anger, he looked as if he had seen a long term enemy. "Welcome to my pack vampire Blade." Vincent said, staring at Blade, Blade stared at him in surprise, he was not expecting to see this man whom he has cut off his arm since the last previous years in the last war caused by Lucas and his pack. Bella stared at the previous alpha, the werewolf was getting older and weaker. She wondered why no one had recognized her, perhaps it was because she was no longer an ordinary werewolf, but a werewolf and vampire, perhaps her vampire scent must have masked her true scent.

Still, she weighed her thoughts as she stood there concernedly. As the werewolf fully transformed into his human form, Erin was sure that he was dead. She looked at his eyes that she'd covered while in his wolf form, but they were wide open now, which made Erin aware that whoever this man had seen was definitely a dangerous creature. She quickly peered around her with heightened vampire senses. At least within thirty kilometres from here, there was no one else but her and the dead man. Necromancer. What the hell was that. Was it a witch using dark magic. Whatever the hell that was, she knew it was dangerous and could pose a risk to herself.

he hissed. “I come in peace,” the vampire’s voice sounded in his mind. He tightened his hands. He knew it was no use…it was not like he could strangle him to death. “She would be proud of you,” the vampire said. How dare he talk about her? Eric reached back to his waist and gripped his dagger. He held it to the vampire’s neck. He would need a bigger blade to cut his head clean off, but for now, this would have to suffice. The dagger was a special blade that would weaken him and keep him from teleporting away until Eric could get his sword…or simply tear his head off with his hands.

When I glance up to the nurse, I say proudly, "This one I am calling Eric the second." She turns and smiles at me with those deep red lips and a thought runs through my head about something I remembered. Vampires are pale in comparison, and they also have lips that are crimson because they are stained by the blood of their victims. Looking back down at my pup, fear starts to ebb in the back of my head as I realize that I am in the company of our mortal enemies.

He went about barking orders and threats to one of the most dangerous werewolves around. The way Eric spoke with so much authority and flair made Adams feel like he was certain of the outcome if he was to engage them all in a fight. Also as he spoke of a vampire impersonating him, Adams' mind quickly went straight to that vampire he saw in Lucian's underground apartment. Although Lucian was claiming not to know anything about the vampire to Eric, Adams was certain that he knew that vampire and that vampire was the same one Eric Damian was speaking of. Adams' heart raced as he imagined the possibility of Lucian and the vampire working together to get rid of Eric Damian.

The vampire looked like he’d been dragged through hell and back. His clothes were shredded, his hair a chaotic mess, but he stood with a rigid, unnerving composure. A mischievous smile played on his lips, but it didn’t reach his eyes. They were a dark, blood crimson, not the feigned green he usually wore.

I didn’t know how old he was, but Vi had made a face and said, “He is ancient.” “She said that Connor had been turned into a vampire after he was killed. His mate...is dead.” Eric faltered at the end. I saw Andrew’s eyes fill with pity before he nodded. Whom did he feel pity for? “And?” he prodded. “She said that he somehow still retained his magic and has been living undercover for as long as she could remember,” I replied because Eric had become silent all of a sudden.

“I don’t know what you are talking about…” “Wrong answer,” I growled, punching him again and again until his face was covered in his own blood. I knew this wasn’t good enough, he was going to heal in due time. But it was very satisfying punching him and nobody stopped me. “If I were you, I’d stop playing stupid,” Bernard said, folding his arms across his chest. “What kind of Eldest allows this type of violence on his vampire?” Ryan asked, spitting blood out of his mouth. “You turned your back on me and our goddess,” Bernard stated, curling his lip up in disgust. “I can’t tap into you like I can the others. Which means you somehow figured out how to go rogue.”
