That young man was Rowan, Evelyn's son from a previous marriage, and a spoiled reflection of the company's darker underbelly. Rowan was arrogant to his core, reckless in his pursuits, and evil in his pettiness—known for sabotaging colleagues, indulging in lavish excesses on company dime, and harboring grudges that festered like open wounds. He stood there now, arms crossed defiantly, but his posture betrayed a flicker of fear under Damian's onslaught.

He grinned at her in a way she could only describe as predatory. "Who are you?" Liv tried to stand, but was still unable to make it to her feet. Her head swam from the blow to her head. "Come now, beauty. Let me help you." The strange man lifted her by the armpits and walked her to a fur covered chair near a table. "I am Killian O'Mara of the Blackfoot Pack," he said with the slightest Irish lilt to his voice. He gave her a courtly little bow before sitting in the chair across the table from her.

Afflictions that have followed you around like a shadow are known as evils. Anything that isn't part of your natural destiny is evil. Evil loads, demonic attachments, and superfluous luggage are all examples of evils…” she said as she rose.

Classic Damian. Lang muttered, “You think the Mayor agreed?” Evelyn gave a bitter laugh. “He’s scared. He probably gave him the keys to the city.” She turned to leave, grabbing her jacket. Mason was waiting by the hallway, arms folded. “You heard?” “I heard.” “What now?” Evelyn looked back at the speaker still hissing with Damian’s final words: “Just a devil you know.” She whispered, “Then let’s make him regret ever thinking I was predictable.”

That was a direct slap on Damon's face. He was being continuously marked for being a gay man with whore qualities and being cheap. Eva has now reached the extreme category to criticize him and it was for Damon to revenge now.....

Eva replied spontaneously. “Who?” Emilia scrunched her forehead because she never knew the name. “It is his name, the Devil. My dad calls him Mr. Xander. I don’t know his first name.” Eva repeated it once more. Emilia just nodded, then caressed more of Eva’s back. “Therefore, I have to go. I have to leave this city,” said Eva, making her decision. Emilia shook her head immediately. “No! The first thing that you must do is report to the police. That man and your dad must be responsible for their crimes!” said Emilia enthusiastically. Eva shook her head with a worried look. She did not want to deal with the law.

Half-evil sounded sincere. “Man, I do understand you. We pals, man. I was your best man. I’m sweet little Rory’s godfather, man. I know how much you love your family. But man…” Evil hesitated. “The day we joined the gang, we were dead, man. Ain’t got no turning back.”
