By the pricking of my thumbs something wicked this way comes. William Shakespeare. In the lobby, Michael Kerr, the night doorman was watching football on a small TV behind the reception desk. A soft buzzer told him that a door that was not accessible to the general public had been opened. By the time he turned round to the panel which would indicate which door was open by means of a red light, it had stopped. “Damn” he thought, he stared at the panel for a few seconds to see if it happened again, nothing happened so he turned to his monitors and saw there were a couple of blacked out cameras.

It would explain things a bit, considering she had no trouble handling the other rogues. When Ryker lifted the gun and aimed it at his brother, he spoke. “I am sorry this happened to you. We are trying to find a way to cure everyone, so I can take you back and lock you up until we find a cure, or I will have no choice but to kill you.” A growl emitted from the wolf, which I was sure that meant he wasn’t going to go back with Ryker willingly. The wolf’s ears peeled back, and he lowered his head as if he was about to attack. Ryker fired his gun and I saw it hit the wolf.

He was probably doing that right now. The car was filled, there were four of us heading in. I tapped my fingers on the door handle as I counted down the minutes until we got there. I was nervous today and I knew exactly why. Rick, widely known as The Butcher, was sitting in the car next to me. He was our enforcer, the man my grandfather called when he needed something taken care of that required a certain amount of intimidation or force. Typically, one look at Rick and whoever it was we were threatening that day would capitulate.

I ask. “Macon is over the imperial wolf pack that is south of us. There are two imperial wolf packs. One belongs to Macon and the other to Lester. Macon is unruly and vicious. Lester is more calm and easy to deal with than Macon. If my mother knew this, that might be why she wanted you dead,” Erick says. “Are you telling me that my brother is evil?” I ask. “He is more than evil,” Erick says. “Wan wants to take me to see him so he can tell me about my past,” I say.

He knows the person who is going to take over as Alpha is going to lead the pack back to their old ways of being great, accepting and open minded. “I don’t fucking care if I am the rightful Alpha or not, I am Alpha, period.” Rick shouts. “And I am here for two reasons; to kill you and take that pretty Luna of yours.” Eileen steps away from him with wide eyes. “Rick! Why?” She asks with venom. He just looks at her, lifting an eyebrow. “Because she is powerful, sexy and everything I have ever wanted. Our pups are going to be unstoppable.” He answers with no remorse.

I will finish them with my hand. “Evan, I am giving you five minutes to finish all those messes. I want you hereafter five minutes.” I mind-link Evan. “I will be there in four.” He mind-links back and I smirk. I know my beta. He will be here in a minute. I want to deal with them alone and I want these ladies out before that. “So you managed to find her?” Rick says mockingly. But I didn’t reply and smirk. “What cat got your tongue?” He asks while moving the gun on Andrea’s stomach.

I followed, light on my feet, my shoes barely kissing the deck. One of Rick’s pals turned around. He opened his mouth to say something clever. I closed it for him. I don’t remember deciding. I just remember his eyes going wide, his balance failing, and the soft wet sound when his head met the teak. He went down like a sack of yesterday’s laundry. The others were slower. They always are. People don’t expect violence where they’ve paid good money for cocktails and a view. Elky had Rick by the collar before the girls finished screaming. Rick smelled like expensive cologne and dirty money and a whole lot of panic. His eyes darted around, calculating exits that no longer there.

Rick waited until everybody was inside the aircraft, both wounded and not, then he spoke to them. "Now listen up everyone", Rick got the attention of all the people around. It was time to make them forget that Clair was shot and that she died. He didn't want people raising brows when they see a girl that is supposed to be dead, walking around alive and healthy. It would draw attention to him that he didn't need at all. He was about to perform a similar magic to the one he did with Stanley. Though he hated the dark energy swirling within him, it was the only way. Performing on this amount of people could drain him but he had no other choice. He swallowed hard pulled in to their minds by stret

Rick replied. “Get the fuck out of my car. I am ditching you in the middle of nowhere just like you have ditched me in the middle of nowhere. You are badly injured and even in your healthiest state, I am quite sure I could overpower you. So let’s do this as respectfully as we can, get out.” He gritted and Dark caster could not believe the visible anger on Rick’s face. But he knew that Rick could truly overpower him in this case. “I will make one more call then…”
