The blonde, Sarah, starts before the dark haired girl, Mariah, nudges her and she immediately shuts up. "Took over?" Rei latches on to the blonde slip up. "Indeed, perhaps this Calista took on the Alpha's role fully for her father. No wonder she's causing difficulties already, she must think I'm taking her position." I reply to Rei, watching as the group in front of me shift nervously, clearly mindlinking one another. Something I won't be able to do until the new Alpha ceremony during the next full moon.

"It is a pleasure to have you here. I thought you would not be returning from the Summer Court for several weeks." Aoife gave Jayce a slow, sexy smile, her dark eyes drinking him in. Adelaide’s magic trembled on the verge of collapse, then settled, exhausted but still there, still hers. Caelum leaned his head briefly against the stone, letting the cool surface ground him. She enjoyed it. The thought wouldn’t leave him alone. He replayed the sounds she’d made, the way her body had moved, the particular shape of her magic when it wrapped around the Devil’s and shuddered in want instead of horror. It pressed into him with every echo of her voice, every tremor of her body, every shiver of magic that rolled off her in molten waves.

Caya casted a spell using her grace, Gemini, and then fired several arrows into the sky. Suddenly, it rained gigantic light arrows and they formed a big circle surrounding Deborah’s Taurus. Then, with a faint tilt of his head— “Sure,” he said. “Let’s hear it.” Aurel smirked like he’d just been handed a sword. “Alright then,” he said, turning to gesture casually toward the rest of the class. “Let’s start with the fun ones.” He pointed to the blue-haired boy seated near the back, still silent and unmoving. “That’s Caelum Virellian. He’s from a family of frost mages, if the hair didn’t give it away. Ice in his veins. Literally.”
