Foundling

Foundling

That isolation had raised in the New Land a folk independent and self-reliant, private and stubborn, with little need for regard to the contrivances of the powerful in some distant land, and the farther one traveled westward beyond the shadow of the mountain the more intrenched was this view. For that reason, those who ventured into the far unknown, caravan outriders, Guardsmen, or those waylaid by winter and having nowhere else to go, had cause to be so far from the more well traveled routes. So, the arrival of the Lady that early autumn morning was out of place.

Bloodbound: The legacy of Serelai

Bloodbound: The legacy of Serelai

"Okay. We go." Preparations were quiet and solemn. They explained to the leaders of The New Dawn and the Ship-Mind that they had to leave on another journey, that a distant echo needed their help. They didn't tell them the whole truth. They spoke of a "quiet sickness" in a far-off star system. It was not quite a lie, but it felt like one. The people were sad to see them go, but they understood. The gardeners' purpose was a wandering one. They gave them gifts for the journey—packets of food, containers of water, and small, handmade tokens of good luck.

Far From Yours

Far From Yours

I said feeling tears welling up at the corner of my eyes, Lucas nodded, I started walking away from him, I wanted to be alone, he can never change. I started walking, with no clue of where the hell I was going, but as long as it's far from him, I'll be fine. I didn't realize how far I walked but I walked a lot, I was facing a lake, it wasn't icy or anything, but it seemed cold.

Reborn to Walk Away

Reborn to Walk Away

“What’s the point of talking about this now? Whether in my past life or this one, I can never forgive you. The best outcome for us is to never see each other again.” I looked away and clung tighter to Marco’s arm. “Come on.” Marco glanced at me, then at the disheveled figure on the opposite side of the street. Not asking any questions, he gripped my hand tighter. “Alright. Let’s go home.” In the back, the shadow sank to his knees as scattered chamomile petals swirled across the ground in the wind. Still, not a single soul turned back.

FERAL

FERAL

"He just likes whining, but he secretly loves his job. He likes kicking ass and he does that a lot. He's the best warrior in the pack. Apart from Lucas, that is." I stared again at Bo who had quickly gotten the warriors in check. Gone was the playful, baby mask. Now, it was difficult to see that it was one and the same person. "We don't have a Delta in my old pack", I said. Lately, I'd been mentioning Blue Moon a lot. It no longer hurt the way it used to. "Your pack is a small pack", Lance said and I saw his something pass through his eyes. He shared a deep look with Lucas before saying, "They don't need a Delta because their warriors aren't large enough to warrant one. Their gamma or beta c

I Walked Away

I Walked Away

I stood there in silence, long enough for the snow to blanket the ground, long enough for a decade of passion and resentment to vanish like snowflakes in the wind. At last, when he seemed to feel my presence and our gazes locked, I walked away. For a fleeting moment, clarity flickered in his eyes, and he took a step to follow, but was quickly swallowed by a tide of jumbled memories. He grasped at a snow rabbit that happened by, asking, "Have you seen my Fiona?" I slipped away into the night, leaving the North to its Fiona-less fate, under a sky painted with crimson auroras.

Racing Away From Forever

Racing Away From Forever

I took a deep breath, my eyes stinging as I fought back the tears. "Enough!" Elio shouted, his patience gone. "Since you can't stand to see her happy, since you're so jealous, then you can experience the life she's been living!" My heart clenched. "What do you mean?" "The abandoned church in the north suburbs, where the family deals with its traitors. You'll stay there," he sentenced me. "It's the same place Ava hid when she was at her lowest. You can repent before the cross. When you've learned some mercy, you can come home."

Run Away

Run Away

I was not in a mood to hear his speech. I ran without stopping until I reached the human's town. I borrowed a car in a rental I crossed because I can feel her scent was far enough to make my feet hurt. If I were still in human form, walking that far will kill my legs, and looks like I can't shift into my wolf if I had to walk in the human area. I drove for 20 minutes and it was already quite far from the city. I saw a beach at the end of the road I took. At least it's free land, so no other packs can hurt her.

The Alpha's Obsession: His Forced Mate

The Alpha's Obsession: His Forced Mate

Not until I get the answers I need. “Which pack do you come from?” I ask and he sighs. “The Wandering Star.” The wandering star is notorious for being peaceful, always on the move, looking for the best place for their pack to settle down in peace. It is hard to find land and claim it, but it is harder to keep it when you aren’t huge and established. I tilt my head, scanning the other two, noticing the largest Alpha watching Jariah with a scowl on his face.

Riveting - this story draws you in from the first chapter. It is full of drama and mystery. You suspect there is a wolf in sheep's clothing and bite your nails, hoping the female lead figures it out in time. You watch transfixed as the male lead grows into something darker to survive & find justice.

Most books that aren’t finished don’t keep me captivated long enough to keep up with the updates but I can guarantee that I will be keeping up with book until the very end. The book’s plot line is very intriguing and will draw you in within the first few chapters.
