As the fire raged fiercely, I took my husband's hand and tried to rush out of the banquet hall with him. However, Frank Winston shook me off and turned to run toward his assistant, Johanna Scott. As I stood frozen in disbelief, the cabinet beside me collapsed with a rumble and pinned me beneath it. I yelled out for Frank, but he simply picked Johanna up and hurried off without a single glance back at me. Flames and thick smoke enveloped me. I watched helplessly as Frank and Johanna moved further and further away until I eventually lost consciousness.

My body was on fire and the only person who could cool this blazing skin was Caesar. I excused myself telling Cherry that I really was tired and I needed a good slumber without interruptions. She only made a knowing face brushing me off and going back to watching. She was totally hooked into it. I couldn't watch that Valeria with a straight mind though, it was torturing honestly.

The sun was setting down and we had been gathered around the bonfire. The sunset was starting to dim the place, as the yellow streaks started to illuminate the area we were in. Frost laced across the stone beneath her boots in thin, creeping fractures.
