“If they scream we are doomed.” Flavius peered between the stone bars. “By the gods, if those things get out, we are doomed twice over.” August looked across the way and saw an identical creature housed in the stone cave. His teeth gnashed, shaking from side to side. “What do you say to that?” Flavius muttered, “What are they? Dragons? Worms? Slugs?” “I don’t know.” They looked like long lizards, with four legs, but sported bizarre underbellies like a worm and strange protuberances on their reptilian heads like slugs. “I can’t dream of such a thing.”

My eyes widened. There, under a bush, was a tiny creature with fluffy silver fur and faint blue stripes across its back. Its big round ears twitched as it sniffled again, rubbing its nose with a tiny paw. “Oh my moon…” I whispered softly, crouching down. “What… what are you…?” It looked up at me with glowing aqua eyes and sneezed again, so hard it fell onto its back with a little squeak. I clamped my hand over my mouth to keep from laughing. It flailed its paws dramatically before managing to roll upright again.

He wasn't sure he pronounced camerul right. "Cameruls are baby Camoflies. Camoflies are mystical birds with a tail. And they don't have feathers, they have furs. Most interesting part is they don't lay eggs and the moment they give birth, they turn to dust, leaving their babies behind. They are the most friendly mystical creature in the forest".
