She screamed. “Noooooooo.” The female honked again and then her back formed slits on either side. Slimy, pink wings tore out from the slits and stretched. They looked thinner and more fragile than the ones the males had, but much larger. She flapped them slowly, then faster, and then lifted off the ground. Dudley came running over in a panic. “Do something! Please!” We were all looking up at the dragons wheeling in circles as the female rose to join them. The Mezzik took off to escort the female.

He looked at his own feathers before saying, “Oh well, what is more beautiful than a green pair of wings? I'd say that that green gown would do a far more beautiful thing on you!” I rolled my eyes. “Far more beautiful thing on you!” I mimicked. He didn't take notice of what I'd said but kept on and on talking about how his beautiful wings attracted two sparrows to himself, just this week alone. It got to a point (while I wore the green gown) that I couldn't help but laugh at Roy's exaggerations.

“What the hell are you doing in here? I told you to wait until— why is she loose?” Rori was curled up so tight on the floor her entire body was beginning to cramp, she sobbed softly into her knees until she heard the pitter-patter of small feet flutter across the floor and soft cool hands touched her shoulders “Hay calm down, nobody is going to hurt you here ok?” Rori looked up at Destiny and noticed that her eyes seemed to twinkle almost as she smiled sweetly. Rori was so very overwhelmed with everything that her brain did not seem to work correctly “H-He Ha-has w-wings.” Rori almost whispered it, and Destiny scrunched her nose, confused. “Well, yeah, of course he has wings, silly he’s a-”

She gradually extended her hand and brushed the feather of his wings. “They are…” “Beautiful, right?” He was so excited to show Evangeline her wings that he didn’t even let her finish. “Divine. I was going to say divine.” She met his gaze and smiled. He returned the smile and with a swish of wind the wings disappeared. “Though I have a problem. Every time I open them, they just make a hole on my shirts, like they are blades. Plus they look weird when they are packed. Any suggestion?” He questioned her, after taking a seat on the couch.

A soldier suddenly sprouted two wings on his body, he was flying in the sky, so he dodged. The test ended, only a few people remained. Bella Risa looked at the young man who was probably in his twenties, his handsome face retracting his wings. With a little praise, she couldn't help but blurt out: "He's both handsome and very good." Raph Conrad glanced at the woman, eyes glazed over at the other man. For some reason, there was some discomfort in his heart, and his tone was more harsh: "A group of ten people, but only a few people passed. Everyone, what kind of practice is this?”

I clear my throat, “Come on, Divina, bring those wings out.” She sighs in defeat and says, “Fine, but you stay over there.” She rolls her shoulders and takes a deep breath and I watch as her upper back ripples and the skin over her shoulder blades split open and her magnificent wings burst forth. This time there are no blue flames, just Divina and her silvery blue wings. I walk over to her and run my fingers over her wings, and she shivers in response and ruffles her feathers up and out effectively knocking me back a few feet.

I said dropping a feather to glide downwards. A murmured growl acknowledged the hit, he apparently already knew. That growl gave me goose bumps. I watched in relief as he walked over by the door to grab the discarded pie bag and spilt coffee cup. Coffee had leaked out and made little tree root designs along the floor. I felt bad about that but he started it. Standing up he looked at me where I was perched. "Well, you are definitely not an Angel, not with those dirty wings, but, you're not simple, I'll give you that." The dig on my wings stung, they weren't the pretty ethereal white of an Angels but resembled melted cookies and cream ice cream.

It instantly evolved, as though there was a god ray erupting from within them. Behind her, a pair of huge flaming wings began to flap wildly. This pair of wings was made up of hundreds of long swords with terrifying flames. As they flapped, cracks could be seen clearly in the hollow. It was obvious that this pair of weapon wings was not only used to speed up and fly, but also to attack. Rumble! Behind her, explosive sounds began to ring out.

He didn't realize that the joy Raymond felt when he was called by his name had created a new feeling within Ravi, like many butterflies flying out of his chest. "Ravi?" Ravi woke up from his reverie, seeing Raymond tilting his head in confusion, one of his eyes shining brightly. Ravi licked his dry lips and shifted his body away from Raymond. The intense scent of chocolate still filled Ravi's lungs. "Yes. So, can your wings make you fly?" Raymond's smile faded, and he shook his head slowly. "No, they're just decoration. I'm the only one like this. If I were a full elf, I could use them to fly, but these wings aren't strong enough to lift my body."
