A vase flew at my head. I ducked instinctively, the ceramic shattering against the wall behind me. I straightened slowly, blade already drawn. Then I heard his voice. Low. Calculated. “So... you’re the Ghost Knife. The woman with no past. No future. Who sent you ? .”

Drooping from its mouth is its long tongue, With its jaw dropped, exposing its sharp teeth. His mind rattled as he felt fear upon seeing it. He took steps back from the railings-just enough for the creature not to see him. He thought that the shadow demons were the most disturbing creature he has ever seen since he entered the game, but boy was he wrong. "W-what was that?" Eurus asked as his face turned more white, scared, and confused. "That's is a ghoul, my friend," Luke stated. "It moves fast-faster than a human. Even a single drop of blood would attract that Hideous-looking demon." He added.

I began to chant as I felt the blood of Ares mixing with my own until I could feel his power coursing through my veins. I lift my hand and outstretched it until my long black fingernail was technically touching the barrier around the clearing. I watch as the tip of my nails began to bend until it melt. I smirked before retracting my hand. "Ester darling, I see you are not happy that I am visiting you today." I spoke and summoned one of my crows. This one name was Ghost, he had a liking for lost souls that lingered on earth.He could spot them quickly, something I have used him for occasionally when I want to suck some of the souls power. There is nothing more delicious than a wandering soul.

Don’t wait. Kill them before they reach you!” “They don’t actually… eat people?.” I said in disbelief. I waited for someone to correct me. When no body did, my stomach dropped.

After a moment, Jorvan took out an infernal bill from his pocket. However, the money was covered in sticky blood. When it touched my skin, I went and got a rag to wipe it off. In the next second, I froze in place and dared not move. Oh no. In such horror games, only players could see blood. They could also see the actual undead nature of the ghouls. Jorvan’s lips curled into a wicked smile, revealing a mouth full of sharp teeth as he stared at me. “Who are you? Where did the original owner of this food stall go?”

I call ghost, he got more than one skill, and opening closed-door virtual and real ones are one of his many skills. He uses his key locks tools and messes with the door for a bit until it opens. Finally, I walk down with ghost behind me, I find a small girl laying naked on the floor. She's thin, too thin, her blond hair match mine only hers is dirty and matted on her head. Her blue eyes are hardly open, I can see bruises all over her fragile body. Taking off my shirt I cover her quickly and pick her up leaving this hell behind. "You're safe now baby sister" I whisper in her ears she closes her eyes letting darkness take her.

Marcus cast his eyes down as his shame covered him like a new winter’s coat. “ For now,Noah, please just trust me.” For a while after Noah left his room, Marcus stared up at the ceiling, feeling like the lowest form of life for lying to his best friend. How could he possibly explain to him that his dad and new girlfriend were being haunted by an ancient spirit, the same one who haunted his gran and her sister years before? “ Hello Marcus.” The voice which suddenly interrupted his thoughts, was melodious and familiar. Marcus looked to his side and by the light of the moon beaming through the window, he saw her.

For a moment, she found herself back at that event that had haunted her for months, continued to hunt her even now. The cold rain. The metallic smell of blood. The searing pain of claws digging mercilessly into her flesh. A ghoul. “I… I need some air.” Maya’s voice was low and far too breathy even to her own ears. She wasn’t even sure either her sister or Anna heard her. She shoved through the crowd, desperate to make her way outside. And with each move she took, she swore those dark, predatory eyes followed her.
