She had known that young lady since she was a child— had been a silent witness to her life. And it was a very short life. In a peculiar twist of fate, the young girl whose name sounded similar to hers, and who also uncannily resembled her face if she would just remove her garish makeup was her Gemini. At first, Evie did not understand what that meant until she told the old sage of their village about her. A Gemini was a celestial twin. Evie had been seeing that girl whenever she looked in the mirror. But this Gemini had already died before her. Evely perished a week before Evie died and in a very tragic manner like her.

“Parents?” “Orion and Tessa Belmont. Of the Obsidian Pack.” Someone from the crowd scoffed loudly. “Disgraced Beta!” Gemini’s glare snapped toward the sound, sharp and unyielding. The guards flinched slightly but didn’t restrain her further. The elder continued, unfazed. “And how do you know the accused?” A smirk curled on Gemini’s cracked lips as she turned her gaze slowly, deliberately, toward Vienna. “She’s my darling half-sister. Or so we thought.”

They needed to discuss the things they were going to do privately. “I know that. I know.” Gemini answered with a smile on her face. She was just teasing them. In fact, she really doesn't mind about a friend, regardless of gender, in her room. She doesn't mind because she trusts her daughter’s judgment. So, she just let them be, even with the door closed. She was more intrigued about this someone that Kris talked about.

He whispers, patting my head. Oh, the confident cow! I rise on my tippy toes and grab his left ear. He really learned faster. That's better than being a late bloomer. So that he can think about his future or early. I'm just here to guide him. I smiled and looked into his emerald eyes. They just answered her but Thier eyes followed her till she dispeared sad but proud. On getting outside Gemini took her SUV and made her way to silverhound, she chose silverhound because it's the baddest building ever, the owner is Jerome although a little bit old he has all the underground beneath him meaning anyone he like gets accepted underground and above ground.
