’’ I asked rather pissed, not that I was not okay with the color choice for the first dress but that the green outfit for the court was getting under my skin. I finally saw the source of the blue light, my jaw dropping and eyes widening with disbelief, shock and more shock. It was a gated path just like the one leading to his mansion. Unlike that one, the ground wasn't paved but was a neat, smooth green path. The grass wasn't just green, it was literally glowing chrysoprase, the beautiful apple green colour luminated and brightened the ground. The ground outside the path of chrysoprase was normal plain but smooth grass, connecting to the trees.

The day had barely begun, yet the sun was sneering from above. Professor Brown Sanders wiped his forehead with a bandanna and stared at the damp spot in the center of the fabric. Of all the colors he could have chosen that day, it had to be green. Green, like the canopy of leaves blocking the sun every now and then. Green, like the dense undergrowth weaving through the forest floor, carpeted by thick sludge of mud, rotting plants, and the droppings of God only knows what. With every step he took, the snake-like vines seemed to move, determined to launch him face-first into the putrid forest floor of the A****n rainforest.

I internally groaned realizing I had moaned a bit too loudly. I quickly turned back to my food losing my appetite and feeling queasy because I hated being the center of attention. I ate my food faster and waited for mom to finish her food. We exited and let me tell you the rest of the day moved at an excruciatingly slow pace as expected. *** I was skipping down the dirt road with Lilies in my hair, not my favorite flower but I let it slide. I could feel the nature at my fingertips as the flowers in my hair bloomed even more if that was even possible. The trees started to adopt a vivid green hue and I felt the grass in between my toes grow more.

Satisfied, he nodded. He placed one of his hands on the nearest rune to him. It was colorless, but as soon as he touched it, it glowed with an eerie luminescent green, the same color as the leaves of the forest surrounding them. All the other runes soon began to glow in the same color as well, lighting up everywhere in a soft glow.

I was nervous, but I wanted to try. “Green Circle?” Nico said. “Join it. It’s good. Ezra, the org head, is nice. He’s really good.” I smiled. “That’s why I want to try. I’ll check it out later.” That afternoon, I went straight to the booth under the acacia. There were crates of pechay and tomatoes, and a table with a cardboard sign that read: GROW WITH US. Jai pointed to the crooked letter in the middle of the name. “Letter ‘E’. It’s Grunerind,” Darrion answered. “Oh yeah, I just remembered it was called like that,” the blonde said, opening the small handbook he got from his colleagues in Rettaza. “Grunerind? What does it mean?” Jai asked as he observed the right road. Darrion pointed to the handbook. “Green bark. The forest’s name is Green Bark Forest,” he looked up from the book and blew his wind around softly, feeling the surroundings. “Hmm… It’s safe around here. Do you want to rest for a bit?”

, he grumbled. Bartimaeus hummed, "I couldn't say. Most leaders shine red, and the gifted lot that masters it in six months usually shine with a soft silver color", he hummed, "Anyway, your grandmother shined a distinct Dark Green color, it's not a bad color, but the connotations of the color usually belong to ambition, greed, jealousy. The lighter color that's not clouded with Darkness, means, growth, wellness, fertility, safety and harmony", he explained. "The darkness, what color is that?" Sasha asked curiously. "Black?" he asked pointing out the obvious.

I was too absent minded to listen to their introductions. "Green is timeless, bold and very beautiful..." Just like my Eve. "It is the perfect color because it compliments every other color right there, it flatters almost all skin tones and would stand out when pictures are taken. Pretty sure, it would pop beautifully with the runway lighting. Lastly, green is associated with wealth, luxury, elegance..." And it reminds me of someone very close to my heart. I didn't add this part though... They would all think it was the reason I chose green which was the main reason anyways. "Ohh, you just literally changed my mind, Mr Gray." One said with a chuckle.
