CHAPTER TWENTY-ONE: PLAN B ETHAN'S POV Hades is down there in his automobile, I discover. As I go in close behind him, he raises his chin in greeting. But we need to go straight away. He checks the window to make sure all of his guards are posted. Given that he is reputed to be cautious, it is not surprising. Thanks to his quiet strategic nature, he is one of the strongest, if not the deadliest, cornerstones of the Company.

Chapter 44 CAELUM The dome disappeared. The damp soil was replaced by gleaming granites as the smell of death, moss and rotting flowers infiltrated my lungs. “I’m glad you called. I was hoping for a much earlier meeting but it seems that you are kept busy by that charming little cupid,” His voice eerily echoed and I look around noticing his dark form that is drawing close. Hades pulls off his coat and his luminous blue hair floated, licking the top of his head. Curiously, I observed how each strand of his hair drifted as though the wind is blowing at it.

Hades just nodded "So are you in?" "Of course! No one would deny such an offer. His majesty, the great Hades Shaw, is cooking dinner for them" Ana said dramatically, trying to tease him. Hades chuckled at her words, he was happy that she accepted his offer. They drove to a high end area surrounded with skyscrapers. Hades lived on the 55th floor in a penthouse and as soon as they entered Anastasia was flabbergasted by the view in front of her. She ran towards the ceiling to floor windows and couldn't help but be mesmerized by the sunset. Hades walked and stood beside her, he was enjoying another beauty.

I followed it, feeling a glide of breeze touching me, making shivers run down my back. Pushing the door open, I came into the small terrace Hades built for us to relax watching the stream flowing by. On the midnight sky the moon shone like a light bulb, giving me a good view of the surrounding. I looked around until my eyes fell on one of the arm chairs by the fire pit. Hades sat there, arm spread and one knee over the other. The top of his shirt buttons were open, the moonlight gleaming on the flawless skin of his chest, and his tie hung loose around his neck. His hair sat disheveled like he ran his hand through it several times.

At the mention of Alpha Hades my heart started to race and I felt this strange tugging. I fall asleep thinking of ways to leave here. For the first time I don't dream of the day Alex left. Instead I dream I'm walking through a dense forest and I come upon a man standing Infront of a beautiful Waterfall. it's the biggest waterfall I've ever seen It comes down out of the mountain in waves creating a vast lake below it. It's surrounded by trees. Looking to the right I see a gazebo in the distance covered in red and white flowers it's breathtaking.

"We wouldn't want to scare our visitor now, would we?" Then he turned his golden eyes towards Lydia. "So much guts you have to be here witch",he said. Lydia quickly bowed before the god of the underworld. Her head touched the ground and she was trembling. Not from fear but awe. Hades was a sight to behold. He remained in his human form and one could see the power and dominance he possessed with just a glance. And he was hot. How could the devil be so hot? "Lord Hades",Lydia said in a trembling voice. "Forgive my presence and spare my life. I have come to make a deal".

She realized this place was another cage, just a much prettier one. As the sun began to dip below the horizon, painting the sky in fiery oranges and purples, Hades appeared. He was no longer in a suit, but dark jeans and a fitted black shirt that hugged his powerful frame. He held two motorcycle helmets. “Ready for a ride, baby girl?” he asked, a hint of wild excitement in his eyes. He led her through a concealed door off the living room, into a large, climate-controlled garage. Inside, amidst several luxury cars, sat a sleek, powerful black motorcycle. It gleamed under the lights, looking like a predator. “Hop on,” he commanded.

But before I could fully process my thoughts, a deep, familiar voice shattered the air. "I’m not interested in marking a tiny, sturdy thing like you." The glass door slid open, and Hades stepped inside, his towering figure casting a long shadow across the floor. His crimson eyes flickered toward the bodies outside before settling on me, his gaze unreadable. "The view is nice, isn’t it?" His lips curved into a smirk, one laced with something dark, something wicked. "I was just wondering where I should hang your Alpha’s corpse when I get my hands on him. Maybe right beside them, so you have a perfect view. And I will have a good evening moment watching him rotting with disgrace."
