We can face this.” The path widened as they neared the nexus, its core now visible—a massive orb of violet energy, veined with black, suspended within a lattice of twisted spires. Shadows swirled around it, forming fleeting images: burning worlds, shattered constellations, and faces—her mother, her father, the doppelgänger—all whispering her name. The spark within her flared, not in fear but in defiance, as if recognizing the heart as both enemy and kin.
