“It's okay Celene I won't hurt you. I just want to see. To help you. Your body isn't healing as it should. I promise I won't hurt you.” She eyed me for a while before reluctant letting go of her gash, her face twisted in pain. I leaned forward to access the damage, the injuries were not as terrible as it should be, it looked as though she had tried healing herself, but had been too weak. With a deep breath I placed my arms over the cut, calling the element of earth to aid as her flesh slowly covered,hiding within it her purple blood. She winced, biting down on her lip to stifle a cry.

Everyone is intensely listening to Jenna as they are curious how the healing works. “If I healed you, then you would have felt warmth and a sense of peace come over your body. For me I absorb your pain or injury. If you have a broken arm, I have a broken arm. If you have a cut, I have that same injury although you may not see the blood. I then need time to heal myself, which can take hours or days depending on the severity of the injury.

she said softly, “your body has been through so much. It’s like it’s turned off parts of itself, but we can turn them back on again.” I furrowed my brow, not understanding what she was getting at. “What do you mean—how?” She cast a glance at Alaric before she replied. “You will need assistance to help you move and exercise. To support you as your body recovers.” “Assistance?” My gaze followed hers to Alaric. “You mean him?” “Yes,” the healer said. “Alaric has agreed to provide you with assistance. He’s already familiar with the instructions and exercises you’ll be given. And he’ll be right here to help you.”

I agreed, keeping my eyes on her finally peaceful face. “I’m sure I don’t need to tell you this, but you should stay with her. The bond should help her heal. It already is,” he added. “She will probably have some scarring, since she’s human, but the bond is a powerful force. The closer you can be to her, the better, but be mindful of her injury.” I nodded and scooted the chair closer to the bed, taking her hand into both of mine instead of just the one and leaning my elbows onto the mattress.

“I… what can I do to help?” Healer Farah, the one with the pretty twist updo, smiles at me, answering, “We’ll figure out a way for you to help. I hear you’re getting experience making your own remedies, so there’s more than one way you can assist us, and we’ll be able to explain any process you don’t understand or need help with while learning.”

But she can heal some of them, enough to make him more comfortable. Her tune is soft and gentle as she hums. A light wind flows around her, lightly blowing her hair back. Her little shimmery dust lightly falling down around us. I watch as it's gently falls and land on his skin, it almost flickers as it touches his skin. I watch as some of his wounds slowly start to heal. The swelling on his face going down as she pushes her tune out louder. Feeling the healing aura as it flows from her. Her humming slowly stops, the last of the shimmers gently fall down onto him.

"You are not alone, Cedric. We will face your demons together, one step at a time. Let me be the light that guides you through the darkness." And so, they embarked on a journey of healing, hand in hand. Cedric sought professional help, and Elara became his constant support, offering words of encouragement and love through each step of his recovery. She reminded him of his strength, his resilience, and the beauty that lay within him.

We pointed out butterflies, taught her the names of flowers, and listened as she repeated them slowly, syllable by syllable. “Rose,” I whispered. “Ro…se,” she repeated. “Sunflower.” “Sun…flo…” Her lips trembled, but she smiled. She was learning. And every time her voice lifted, I felt a little more healed. I couldn’t believe how far she had come in so short a time. I move to her and engulf her in a bear hug, and as she tries to push me off her, I speak softly to her: "Let me hold you just for a little bit, Mother; you don't have to be strong every time; just breathe a bit with me. I am so sorry this is happening to you." I call to the bond of my brothers and mate, and suddenly every single scar on her is wiped off. She might not be able to heal herself, but I can heal her. She smiles, "Thanks, sweetheart." Then she suddenly levitated, falling asleep, so I take her to her room and place her on her bed, placing a soft kiss on her forehead. "Rest well, Mother."

She winced when she felt the tear on her cervix begin restoring itself. “Internal wounds sure is a bitch.” She said to herself while meditating to overcome the discomfort. She opened her eyes and the first thing she saw was the ring on her finger. “If I remove my ring I could heal faster,” she mumbled. “Do you want me to drive you to the town so you can remove your ring? We could also visit Tony so you could drink fresh human blood,” he suggested. She smiled gratefully. “You… You would do that for me?” She uttered with a shaky voice.
