I closed my eyes, clenching tightly before colliding my fist into a glass vase, crushing everything to the ground.
“Add it to my bill.” I couldn’t stay in that room, I made a dart outside, allowing my lunges some refreshing air, brushing away the tears that filled my eyes, but outside didn’t feel so welcoming anymore. Nowhere will do. Oh, Robin. I lobbed my head up, looking at the sky. This had to be the universe paying me back surely, for every single woman I’d hurt, by ripping away the one person I couldn’t survive without. There was no other explanation, nothing else made sense.
I sat behind the wheels, disheartened, broken hearted and sad, dialling Robin.
