The voices spoke to her again all at once. “Elle, uh there is no easy way to tell you this so I’m just going to say it.” Aunt Hilda looks at Elle with almost pity or almost like she's scared of Elle. But, that didn’t make sense, there was no way Aunt Hilda would be or could be scared of Elle. What Elle didn’t know is that Aunt Hilda wasn’t scared of Elle but Elle’s mate that was quietly watching and listening up on the roof while he was mind linking with his wolf pack and waiting for their arrival from the woods.

She stood up straight, tears brimming, “Where… where is Hayley?” XXX Hailstorm’s POV I saw Kira disappearing through the trees, trying to catch up but instead, was pulled back. Falling onto the ground, landing on my side with a very hard thud, the wind was knocked out of me. I tried to get back up, not daring to look back but something forced me to.

No matter how many times she tried, she always ended up hitting nothing but air. Suddenly, one of the two with whom she was fighting with disappeared. She knows nothing good will come with that. But she cannot divert her attention from the one in front of her. Lucian is using his speed to confuse the dark creatures. Lucian is observing them before identifying the dark creature and delivering his killer blow. He had his eyes on Ophelia as well. She is young and is not well versed in these kinds of things. But he cannot stop admiring the girl for her courage. Even though she is tired, she is not giving up.

"That girl from earlier. Her name was erm Hilda. Is she really Nathan Clemon's wife?" ...................

She approached me with her charming smile. "Hi!" She held out her hand to shake. "I am Halia Wraithborn, the twin sister of Hades Wraithborn. Nice to meet you, my savior!" My face crimsoned as she called me savior twice. I shook hands with her. "The pleasure's mine, Lady Halia. I am Elysia Celeriac, the commander of the Moonlit Silver Wolf Army!"

The voice came and Hilda's smirk even widened the more. Amren snapped her eyes towards the intruder and her mouth hung up when she saw him. Albert. Or rather, Caine. "Aren't you supposed to be Rhysand's brother in the human world?" She couldn't help but voice out. Caine tsk "The fact that you can still spurt out nonsense irks me, Hilda get this done and over with " Amren's eyes sank back as Hilda grinned and walked towards her with a knife. "No-no, don't do this" She shook her head in denial but Hilda just smirked.

Petra poured them warm tea. “I swear, Petra, it feels like I know you.” Hilda said again. “Something about you and your brother feels familiar.” “I know you're lying. I am good with faces so I would've definitely recognized you.” Petra answered. “Too bad Aethon isn't here to warm the food. I'll serve you in a while.” Hilda turned to Keondra when their host walked away. “I'm not lying, I know her!” She whispered. “I believe you, Hilda.” Keondra smiled.

"Sarah recovered. That's wonderful news. Why does everyone act like it's suspicious?" "Because she was dead!!" Hilde said flatly. "No pulse. No breath. I have been a healer for twenty years, and I know death when I see it. And then suddenly…" she snapped her fingers, "...she's sitting up, perfectly healthy. As if she had never been sick at all." "The moon goddess works in mysterious ways," I said, repeating Anna's prepared excuse. "Maybe it wasn't her time." "Or maybe something else happened in that room." One of the younger nurses…a thin girl named Petra…stepped forward. "Something you are not telling us."

She stood at the entrance, dressed stylishly despite the early hour, her eyes narrowed suspiciously. Her gaze shifted between Ms. Mary and me. "Who's pregnant?" Ms. Mary looked at me, then back at Ria. "Lilith." She answered without even hesitating. Everything inside me went cold. Ria's expression froze, and for several long seconds...
