Jessica, who had not even been able to stand, somehow found the strength to crawl out of the bedroom like a rabid dog, her eyes fixed on the bottle in Julian's hand.
"No... Nothing..." Julian tried to hide the water behind his back.
"Give it to me! I'm sick and dying of thirst. That water should be mine!" Jessica's eyes were red as she lunged at him with her hands clawing, then bit down on Julian's wrist.
"Ah! Let go, you crazy witch!" Julian cried out in pain. His hand shook, and a few drops spilled out.
Those few drops snapped Julian's last nerve.
