He joined his hands and thanked God for giving his happiness back to him. Ethan stood up from the bed, walked towards Cole and embraced him, smiling with glee. Cole hugged him back, smiling with equal happiness while Ella beamed at them. *** Cole entered the bathroom, cut his nails, and trimmed his hair and beard. A smile wasn't leaving his face, and his sparkling eyes were clearly telling how happy he was. He was feeling alive after a long time. He returned to the room with a smile on his face, and it broadened as they fell on his kiddo. Ethan and Ella were still sitting beside her.

I said again. Cole tilted his head very slightly. The scar along his jaw caught the flat white light and looked worse than it had in the photograph. He looked at me for a long moment, unhurried and completely unbothered, like a man sitting in a cell with no restraints and no particular concern about the Alpha standing four feet away from him. Then the corner of his mouth moved to something more insulting than a smile. "Do you really think," Cole said, his voice low and almost conversational, "that if I was going to tell you anything, I would have waited until you came down here to do it?"

Unlike the cold Cole, who hadn’t smiled at me the whole ride, he seemed like a whole sweetheart now as he locked his hand with mine. Cole looked at me in the most affectionate way as the cameras flashed even more, and then he pushed his head closer to mine. “Smile, Rosie. People are looking.” I forced out a smile as I stared at the cameras. Cole and I finally got right into the hall, and we were led to a seat, and in no time the whole event started. I tried my best to smile at everyone who came to greet him, and Cole also kept a cold demeanor the whole time.

“Smart move. So, whenever you’re available, maybe a couple hours a day and we can start piecing it all together.” “Okay,” I said, sipping my coffee. “That’s fine. Just let me know. He grabs my both hands behind my back locking them in one of his hand " I'm out of here" cole smirks as he leaves I'm about to beg him to stay, he might be an asshole but I think he has a heart unlike Draven " you have the phone" I glare at him " so ?" "so let me go " my gaze goes down at his chest as I try to avoid eye contact

"Master." "Good. Hurry back." The phone hangs up and I feel myself smiling like an idiot as my drink is called. I collect it as Cole and Will looks at me curiously. "What's put a smile on your face?" Will asks as we all go to Cole's car. "Master said he misses me," I say excitedly and Cole practically squeals. "That's so exciting! It won't be long before he's saying he loves you," Cole says with a grin. But he won't say he loves me because he can't. I force a smile on my face and get in the back seat as Cole gets in the driver's seat.

I don’t think I’ve heard him laugh or make any kind of happy sound before. “Meh” I shrugged. “Can’t take her anywhere” Gunner huffed grabbing my plate and putting it in the microwave. “That was quite the show you put on earlier” Cole leaned back in the chair and put his hands behind his head, raising his eyebrow at me. “I told you she was wicked” Smith mumbled again. Cole smiled and shook his head,

I smiled when I saw Cole standing by the kitchen island and he shook his head at me as his back rested against the counter top. "How are you smiling right now, my head is killing me." He said and I shrugged. "I drank a tomato smoothie earlier." I told him and he frowned at me. "I made some for you too." I said and he smiled softly. "Thank you." He said before grabbing the tomato smoothie I made for him from the refrigerator. "My dad and your mom are out of town again. For the week." Cole said and I frowned lightly. "Wow, they didn't even say goodbye." I said in disbelief.

River asked flatly, his tone laced with irritation. Cole smirked, leaning casually against the bar. He was dressed neatly, in a fitted black jacket, his hair styled perfectly. He looked like someone who belonged at a fancy party, not a dingy bar. “Relax,” Cole said, raising both hands in mock surrender. “I’m not here to fight. I just… wanted to talk.” River narrowed his eyes. “Talk about what? Because if it’s about Jace, save it. He doesn’t need you in his life.”
