Mira was silent. “His name is Jace,” she said finally. “Nobody knows much about him. He barely comes to class. But they say his eyes are red. Bright red.” Red eyes. My heart skipped. Jace? My Jace? No. It can’t be him. But still… That name. It felt like thunder in my chest. Mira looked at me. “You okay?” I nodded too fast. “Yes. Yeah. I’m fine.”

As if she was used to this, Marcello paid no heed to them and simply walked in with James. When they entered, a man walked over to them. Wearing a black robe, he had a somewhat handsome-looking face and exuded evil vibes. He looked at Marcello who was grabbing James’ arm. Upon seeing the man, Marcello immediately released her grip and greeted him, “Jace…” The man before them was Jace, one of the most talented cultivators of his generation in the Demonic Realm. Along with Myles Nemo, they were regarded as the two geniuses.

Alpha Kyle's POV I paced around the room feeling rather uncomfortable. I was unable to sleep last night as my wolf didn't let me sleep. He had been disturbing me to look for our mate. Rejecting my mate wasn't a good decision as I didn't feel my body again. The pain was more than I had imagined. Even though I had tried to suppress it, I felt I couldn't continue to suppress it.

"I, Amara Grace Mikaelson..." I swallowed hard, but the moment a smile tugged at Jace’s mouth, my own lips followed and curled into a grin. “Alpha Female, born from the Blood Moon Pack, takes back my rejection from you, Alpha Jackson Galhart….” Jace’s eyes watered, and so did mine.

However, the day he was supposed to return to the country to come and start working with his father on the family business, a ghastly motor accident suddenly occurred on his way home from the airport. The fake Jace has been working for the family since he was around seventeen years of age, and was the closest to the father as a butler of the family who was shown kindness by Gregory. No one knew that he had been scheming for so long. His real name, Ace Willow, came to light to everyone's shock, and he was in fact not from the States but from a remote village in London.

Jace straightened, and when he spoke again, his voice rang out over the entire gathering — louder than the bell, colder than the moonlight, and final. "I, Alpha Jace of the Makasi Moon Pack, refuse to let this fat thing be my Luna."

" Jace, the Alpha of the crescent Moon replied. " Are the witches even something to begin with? We've been living in peace for all these years and now suddenly they're making moves and you think it's better for us to just sit here and do nothing??" Michael growled angrily. He always hated it whenever someone chose peace over violence, that was the main reason Jace and him never got along really well. He saw Jace as a pathetic, weak little Alpha.It was a surprise the man even made his way up the Alpha position.

Mia: I wound down the glass watching as buildings zoom past, letting the wind blow in my face. I could not wait to be home. To be in Lukas' arms. Dad finally named Axel as his heir and though some were in opposition, the majority had no problem with it, especially after they found out Jade was a gambling addict. I would never forget the look on Luna Lilian's face when she realized her son would never become the Alpha she had trained him to be. I would relish that memory forever.

“That worked.” “I know.” I rolled my eyes. “Don’t get smug about it.” “I’m not.” “You are.” A faint smirk tugged at his mouth. Gone almost immediately. But I saw it. “Don’t make me regret that,” I added. “Too late.” For a second— It felt almost normal. Almost. Then— A voice cut through the hall. “Alpha.” We both turned. Marcus. He approached quickly, expression grim. “There’s movement near the north wall,” he said. “Not rogues.”

The group of princesses behind me made a squeal as the young man sauntered out of the crowd into the clearing in the middle of the hall. “Deucalion,” I whispered, looking at the selected prince. I couldn’t see most of him from where I stood, but he had beautiful black hair just like Valerian just longer, reaching almost his waist. He wore a red jacket over a pair of red trousers. He caught my stare, and I instinctively turned back to the announcer. He pulled a parchment from the second box and having already been caught staring at the handsome prince, the thought of having the dance with him was no longer appealing.
