I need to do my best, I need to keep this job, and save for next year when I am off to college. But now that I think about it... why is Jade here? She should be close to ending her first semester of college. I remember she was flaunting her acceptance letter to everyone in school. She had gotten into NYU and MTSU. So, why was she here? Why isn't she attending university like she so proudly flaunted? I recall her saying her parents were going to pay for her school, and dorm, with all the extravagance life could give.

Jade was a little shy but Marie was extremely confident and outspoken, so she was frequently chosen to represent their school in competitions along with him. She had moved away from town after her graduation but had transferred back here a year ago and was well on her way to becoming salutatorian.
