I turned away from Kelly and looked into my driveway to see the unmistakable Cadillac Escalade that Elijah travels to work with. My breath caught in my throat and my heart began to pound against my chest, "uh, that's my boss's car," I answered slowly as I turned to look back at Jared and Kelly who had on a huge smile while Jared looked unbothered by it.
