Damien held me to his side possessively and I must say, I love this new side to him. "Bethany, this is my wife, Jaycee" he introduced. Although his smile didn't quite reach his eyes as he stated at the woman, I could see they were not in good terms. Bethany forced a smile on her face. "Charmed" she said taking my hands in what is supposed to be a handshake but I felt like she was squeezing my hands and grinning. I pulled away quickly as if I were burned.

Did Jayce leave for the day? Before walking down the hallway, she released a breath. She checked her pockets for her phone and wallet. She fixed her long sleeve black shirt and pushed a lock of hair out of her face. As she rounded the stairs, the scent of fresh rain hit her as she met Jayce's icy gaze coming up the staircase. He was shirtless, with sweatpants hanging low, the curve of his pelvis disappearing into the depths of the fabric. Tribal tattoos licked along his ribs, arms, shoulders, and chest. His slightly long black hair was damp and slicked back. He looked so delicious.

I still hang around them and their seven adorable children; Carter, Carson, Jaenell, Jaylynn, Weston, Asher and Aloha, all of who call me auntie Bianca or will when they are able to talk. A heavy silence fell between them as they processed what this meant. Caitlyn’s battle had been foretold, but so had the battles of others before her. The cycle was endless. And now, Kane was a part of it too. Raymond exhaled sharply. "What do we do?"

Joyce seemed very happy for me. By the time we were done talking, we already got to my office and Joyce saw Fryster sitting. Her eyes lit up and a dirty smile crossed her lips "Hello?" She greeted me even before I could introduce her. "I'm Joyce, Reah's best friend!" She introduced. "He's hot. I bet he's big down there!" She whispered in my ears! I immediately covered my mouth and moved away from her, not wanting to be associated with her. Fryster looked at her and smiled "I'm Fryster. Alpha Xavier's Assistant," He said and returned his attention to his job.

Then added: “Who are you, anyway?” It was hard to concentrate with his eyes on her. He looks so much like Caleb, so intense. Caitlin could recognize that this was a very powerful boy. “I feel like I know you from somewhere,” he added. “I’m Caitlin,” she said, extending her hand. Jade reached up and shook it, trying his hardest to look like an adult. Caitlin smiled, and had to keep from laughing. “I’m Jade,” he said. “What are you doing out here by yourself, Jade?”
