He had completed his doctorate at 24 and stayed on to teach. He had been working for a year now. Laura hummed to herself. With credentials like these, he must have been a standout back in school. After all, Jonah was charming, had a great demeanor, and was academically outstanding. Laura pondered how to introduce herself. Should she say she was living a luxurious life up until she turned 23 and then became Simon's mistress afterward?

“What you did in the past was definitely out of the kindness of your heart, and everything that Samuel did after that had nothing to do with you, so there’s no need for you to blame yourself. “Plus, I think you should reunite with your old friends and subordinates and locate your best friend’s children, who were once held hostage by Samuel. I’m sure they’ve gone through a lot over the past few years.” Jonah, who was a man who valued relationships the most, immediately nodded when he heard this. “Yes, of course!
