The Mafia Game

The Mafia Game

‘Aleksis Agustus, Chief Executive of Octagon Solutions’ How shameless of her husband to say he was fired from a company he owns? A flicker of excitement rushed into her eyes. All these years, Sierra has tried to dismiss the world she grew up in. The rush and hunger for danger were pulsing through her heartbeat. The same way it would always do whenever she was given a task. There was no need to ask who would play this game better. She knew damn well who would be a better player. All she had to do now was plan her way to make Alek feel like winning, and just when he got a hold of the trophy, she’d sneak in and snatch victory away from him. Maybe kill him. Well, that would be optional.

I'll have to take her word for it. "Ooh! I want a giant churro!" Geni says and practically bounces into the vender line. "You want one?" "Sure, as long as they have margaritas, too." She snorts. "It's a soccer game. Of course there are margaritas." As we wait, I keep people-watching. I've never seen so many flags and foam fingers and noisemakers in my life. The sound is almost deafening. I lean over. "Is it always this loud?" I yell in her ear.

"I have no problem with it at all. It'll be my pleasure to hang out with the two of you today." Both of them beam smiles at me, and I wonder what in the fuck I did in another life to get this kind of chance. Three years ago I wouldn't have wanted it, but something tells me today's gonna be a good time. ******* "You wanna play a game?" "I'm not good at them," Riley observes the row of carnival games. There's some of those balloons you shoot water into and milk bottles that you throw a ball at. "I have pretty good aim." Not trying to brag, but I do. "Which do you think? Balloon or ball?"

OMG! This book is so good! I have laughed so hard at some parts of this book. Some parts had me emotional. This is absolutely hands down one of the best books I have ever read. This is the second book I have read by this author and the stories have been fantastic! Seriously, read the book!

This book is definitely worth reading. Guaranteed you won’t be disappointed. It was very hard for me to put the book down because of how captivating the story was. I would have kept reading if there were more chapters, but the ending was great.

His knee gets me in the gut and I gasp from pain. “Did I hurt the baby, Aunt Winnie?” he asks, blue eyes wide with fear. “No, it takes more than that to hurt her,” I assure him. After the doorknob incident, I know. “You have to be careful,” Wes tells him. “That’s your cousin in there. Give her a few years and then you two can play.” “I don’t want to play with a girl.” Jackson makes a face. “Girls are gross, and I like boy stuff!” He jumps back off me and pretends to shoot things.

I gripped the pouch so hard. “Just some medicines for my stomach ache,” I replied. He nodded and continued driving towards their house. When we reached their house, I got off so fast and ran towards my room. I was panicking so hard that I felt like I’m about to collapse anytime soon. I stared at the pregnancy test on the bathroom sink, I have not used it yet because I’m scared of what will be the result. My phone rang and it was Maria. ‘Hello.’ ‘Andrea, have you confirmed it yet?’

My mood darkens further when my phone lights up with a text message from an unknown number: Dearest BestBroyBoyBand, Just filling you in to let you know that I'm home safely and waiting for your return. Cue your sigh of relief. You were probably so worried about me. Fortunately, I lost Ramos on the way back from the beach. He could possibly have been abducted seeing as I last saw him being dragged away by some Mexican with a gun, the same Mexican whose truck I used to get back home. Now that I'm sitting here, having Max text you while I carefully blowdry my hair, it's possible I may have traded Ramos for the truck. Don't really know; I don't speak English Mexican well.

Billionaire Bentley's runaway princess

Billionaire Bentley's runaway princess

Keon sat in the low glow of his gaming room, eyes glued to the monitor as his fingers danced across the keyboard and mouse. The rhythmic clicking echoed through the room, the sound of rapid-fire shots and explosions filling the air as he maneuvered his character through an intense solo match. On the screen, his avatar weaved through enemy fire, jumping between platforms and dodging obstacles in a futuristic, high-tech battlefield—a game that required not just skill but lightning-fast reflexes.
