"Juliana Hernandez: 22 years old, has a 2year old sister, works at Café Rouge, both parents are still alive however her father is unemployed and her mother hasn't visited them in a couple years." "Okay. You can go now." I said to Adams before he scurried off out of my office. I punched the bridge of my nose as I sighed deeply. Ever since I saw Juliana last night, I haven't been able to get her out of my head since and I fùcking hated it.

I was still waiting on the background report on Julia and her kid but in the meantime, I was going to play with her. Right at eight am I heard the elevator ding and the click of high heels. Moments later, Julia entered my office. Today she was wearing a red collared shirt, grey skirt, and black heels. Her hair was down in soft curls down her back. It was even longer than before and looked so soft. “Good morning Mr. Mackenzie,” she greeted me with a radiant smile. I returned her smile with one of my own, “good morning, Miss Love.” She approached me with a stack of papers.

“Kas, this is where you live when you’re not with us?” Julia asks, looking around my apartment in the packhouse in awe. “Yep. This is it,” I smile as I take a couple of boxes out of her hands, “What’s your home like when you aren’t at Mavri Magea apartment?” “Well, it’s basically a bunker,” she frowns, “I can’t have a whole lot of flammable items. Just the necessities.” I give her a compassionate look, “Maybe soon, I can help you hone your ability. Get a better control over it?”

“She’s fine. She's here with me.” “Good to hear,” I reply, just as Julia walks over. Her eyes narrow as they land on me. “Mia,” Julia says. “It’s been so long. How are you holding up these days? Still... single?” I force a smile. “Better than ever. How’s married life treating you? Must be exhausting keeping Eric on such a short leash.” Julia’s smile tightens, and she lifts her hand to flash a large diamond ring. “Oh, it’s wonderful, actually. Eric just got me this. Isn’t it exquisite? He’s always so thoughtful.”

Julia went to have lunch but Theresa Mo remained in the office busy until her lunch was brought to her by Pascal Lee, Junxie's assistant. She paused and ate her lunch. She took a quick nap and returned back to work. Junxie Li sent her a text saying his girlfriend is a superwoman but should learn how to take a brief break to relax her muscles. Julia Li arrived at the restaurant and saw Rita waiting for her. She looked glamorous and sweet. But he had never taken a fancy to her besides taking her to his bed.

Maya’s eyes widened with excitement and she said: "Wow! A picture of him with Princess Navarin? It’s clear that he really loves her." But Julia suddenly said: "Professor Lucas is married." Maya and I gasped at the same time. "What? Impossible! You’re joking!" I said in shock. Julia looked at us in surprise and said: "Didn’t you know?" I shook my head quickly. "No… we didn’t know." Julia said calmly: "He’s married to Professor Lucy… our teacher in the Power class."

Seeing Maddie's puzzled expression, Julia chuckled and said, "Well, probably not, but it's a new company. If you haven't heard of that, you probably know about YMR skincare?" Maddie's face lit up. "Of course! Who doesn't? That skincare is famous as a famous doctor makes it. But why are you telling me this? Don't tell me your brother's behind it?" Maddie only wanted to tease Julia, but to her surprise, Julia smiled and responded, "Well, yes. Our company is the one behind that product." "Oh, shut it! You're quite a bragger!" Maddie exclaimed in mock disbelief. Brimming with pride, Julia pulled out her phone, showed it to Maddie, and said, "Here, see for yourself."

I walked to the driver and smiled. “Caren Inc please” I slipped into the car and he drove off. Caren Inc was a large office building, it wasn’t so popular but I already felt a homy feeling around it. I stepped out of the car and walked into the building. I headed straight for the receptionist, a tall blonde woman with huge spectacles. Her tag said Mrs. Helen Mayer. “hey, I’m Camila Santiago and I applied for a job here” she glanced through some files and smiles.

Helga said as she crosses her arms. "Ugh" Maisy replied the only thing she could say. "But the young madam really surprised me. She wasn't what I expected her to be" Helga says while remembering Amelia's offer to a handshake. "I know right. She's really cute too and innocent" Maisy said, now also recalling their young madam. "The master sees to have refined his taste in women" Maisy added which made Helga choke. "Maisy. Don't be so disrespectful" Helga scolded as Maisy can't stop her sharp tongue from speaking words that may harm her position as a maid working under Damian.
