I looked briefly at the beautiful displays a sense of quiet victory mixing with happiness. But the happiness didn't last. A harsh, familiar voice cut through the air. "Stand right there, you little..." I froze. Spinning around, I saw Kate Walker storming toward us, hands on her hips, eyes blazing. "You! How dare you! Not only did you cheat, you stole my son's money to sponsor your little lovers. Isn't it disgusting, Catherine Clark?" Caleb stepped in front of me, arms crossed. "If you have nothing nice to say, keep quiet."

Great. It's a bomb... Katherine thought snidely. Katherine slowly pulled the leather briefcase out of the box and laid it on the crisp white desk in front of her. It was locked, but the key was tied to it with a silver ribbon so that she could easily open it. Katherine detached the key and unlocked the case, shutting her eyes in preparation for the explosion, she was almost sure would come. Nothing. Not a sound, let alone an explosion. Katherine slowly opened her eyes. She took her hand from the key and very warily opened the case. Inside was a brand new Apple Macbook laptop, the power Cord neatly rolled up beside the laptop.

She bites her lower lip— white teeth sinking into red flesh— then turns, smiling at the bartender. "Whisky please. Rocks." Her gaze returns to me, and she raises her eyebrows. "Make that two," I say, not leaving her gaze. A minute later he places the drinks in front of us, her hand immediately reaching out to bring it to her lips. "Katherine," she says after taking a slow sip, "but my friends call me Kat." "Adam, but everyone calls me Emilio." "I think I'll stick with Adam," she replies haughtily, daring me to tell her otherwise. I lean in closer to her, trailing her body with my eyes again. I can't stop looking at her legs. She notices, and again raises an eyebrow.

Kate goes by the name pretty kitten for her p**n movies and she was always depicted as a woman with a cat head and a tail of a cat wearing a seductive net dress. "Mum, I can get her to do us this favour," Lydia said with a sinister smile. "Won't your brother recognize her?" I asked worried everything would backfire and our plan wouldn't go through. "Mum, Alexander, doesn't watch p**n and doesn't follow any news connected to that. Plus, Kate is pleasing to the eye and she knows that. She uses that to her advantage. She lures you most naturally. Aden "what would you get from all this? Tell me what's your problem?" Kate "I am sorry but I can't tell you anything." Aden "Stop this Nonsense kate. Tell me Why did you do it? How did you get my hotel room keys? How did you manage to enter my house?" Kate "I am here to resign sir. This is my resignation letter." Aden "You can't leave without telling me anything." Kate "I can't Aden. But whoever is behind this is Really dangerous man. You should take care of yourself."

As for Kate though, ai wasn't sure if she would accept Slate as her mate. She has always been the reserved one of the two of us and I knew she would need a little convincing because she is the logical of the two of us. When Minerva sat down to try and convince her, it made me want her even more. We all have heard the stories of Minerva and how ruthless and uncaring she is but this proves otherwise. But when Kate asked her if the stories were true, it was kind of a shock and rather bold but Minerva just took it with stride and didn't rip her head off like Kate thought she would have.

Her voice was low, but it was full of determination. Stephanie released a sigh and then nodded. She pulled out some papers from her bag and gave them to Maya. Most of the words were erased completely. Maya looked at it with a frown as she was having a hard time understanding the content of the paper. “I tried to trace back Kate’s roots, and that is all I found. Apparently, she’s the only daughter of some Duke who owned the Greenwillow brand- a famous and exclusive brand for handbags, perfumes, clothes, shoes- you name it,” Stephanie explained while looking at Maya seriously.

Catherine raised her eyes up to his and raised her eyebrows. "What do you want to say to me? Why can't you guys just let me be? I don't have money, grades or ranks like most of the girls here so please tell me why is it a must that you have to talk to me? Because I am confused. I am very confused, Anitra Steel." Just the mere thought of Camilla falling into this and her getting caught up in this madness was really making me feel cold.
