The door moved again, this time without a sound. And that was even scarier. The silence left behind... devoured us whole. Once the silence fell, Kael sat in the wooden chair in the corner of the room. His eyes lowered to the floor, deep in thought. The dim light from the chandelier cast long shadows dancing on the walls.
