I remarked playfully. Carter chuckled under his breath and brought me closer to his side. I rested my head on his shoulder. I’d already done worse tonight so there wasn’t much to feel more guilty for. “Damien decided to give the world his anger for what was done to him, I decided to smile, it’s as simple as that.” “No wonder you smile like such a weirdo” I teased. Carter laughed into the dark night. “Is that right?” He raised a brow then gave me the goofiest open toothed smile I had ever seen. I snorted and burst out laughing.

She asked with a bright smile and her hand extended out for a handshake. Kingsley raised his head to stare at her , his heart seemed to froze when he saw that familiar smile. The smile that always made him feel happy and loved , his comfort smile the smile he had thought he would never see till he gets to the afterlife. "That smile " He muttered and Karina immediately stopped smiling , realizing she had made a mistake by smiling that way. "What about it ? " She asked , trying to play it cool. "Mm nevermind " "So can we be friends ? " She asked.
