"Are you still awake, baby?" Knight softly uttered when he noticed Eleanor was still wide awake even though it was almost midnight. His own mind was also alert due to the multitude of thoughts occupying him. Eleanor looked at him. "I'm scared..." she whispered softly. Knight chuckled quietly, as their peacefully sleeping son was positioned between them. "Of ghosts? There's no—" "Of the dark auction," Eleanor cut off his joke. Knight sighed then. He knew. He was just trying to lighten the atmosphere.

"What's just happened?" Kursak didn't have to answer, because the ground was shaking again, although not as bad as before. The Gnomes were trembling with fear, making Edmund sure what happened next would not be pleasant. Sure enough, slowly something appeared from all over the hill, their numbers were numerous, hundreds or even thousands. Their figures were extremely thin, some of them even just a pile of bones. All of them emitted a green glow from all over their bodies. They are royal knights who died in battle, the wounds on their bodies show how they died. Some lost their heads, lost an arm, had no legs so that they were hobbling with both hands, and most had open wounds on the chest and

Cocking my head back, I take a moment to catch my breath as rain begins to fall from the sky. “Enough.” The Knight commander hisses, removing his armour. “This ends now, between us.” He roars as his long fingers grip his lance firmly. As I collapse to my knees, I watch as the remaining Rions gather their fallen Knights and remove their lifeless bodies from the circle. I painstakingly begin licking my wounds, attempting to heal myself as much as possible before my final battle. A sinister chuckle comes from the Knight's Commander, “typical royal Kindred. Using his gift to cheat death.”

Then suddenly his eyes snapped open. “I found him.” I stepped forward immediately. “Who is he?” “His name is Ghost.” The name meant nothing to me. “He’s a rogue wolf,” the High Priest continued. “A mercenary. He works for money.” That surprised me. I honestly thought Kevin’s pack was behind the attack directly. “Where is he now?” The High Priest grabbed a piece of paper and wrote down an address. “An abandoned building near the south docks.” I took the paper carefully. “Do not tell anyone about this,” I warned him. “Especially my parents.”

In the distance, he saw figures. They weren't drones. They were avatars. They were standing in a circle, frozen, flickering like ghosts. Ren walked toward them. His footsteps made no sound on the mirror floor. As he got closer, he recognized them. A Knight in silver armor, missing an arm. A Rogue in green leather, with no face. And a small, hooded figure sitting on the ground, hugging its knees. Ren’s breath hitched. He recognized the hooded figure's gamertag floating above its head.

Nick’s eyes narrowed sharply. I stepped closer instantly. “Who in Prague?” The man hesitated. Big mistake. Nick grabbed the knife again. “WAIT!” the assassin shouted in terror. “I-I don’t know his real name—” “Then give me the fake one.” The man swallowed hard. And then finally whispered two words that made the entire room fall silent. “The Ghost King.” My expression darkened instantly. "No," I gasp. "That was impossible," I told myself. My head dizzy with the info.

Resigned, she stood to her feet, went to brush her teeth, and get ready for the day. Making sure to keep the night gown properly to return to Agnes. Just as she was heading down to get breakfast, she heard a voice from below. It sounded sickeningly sycophantic, the owner clearly a woman with a mission. Unease curled its way into Arias's chest. Roman Knight although well known and feared by others, was someone nobody knew about his private life. How could I be so stupid, she thought. She hadn’t asked if he was in a relationship already, or worse if he was married.

She saw nothing. “Where are we?” She watched his face turn ashen, “This is the Knightmyre's dwelling. We must go now. The Knightmyre's will be out as soon as the void of darkness shrouds the landscape.” “What are Knightmyres? I’ve never heard of such things.” “It is Vhalos' doing.” “Who is Vhalos?”

Gideon stayed calm, swung the broken blade, and a white arc of energy shot upward. The black and white blades clashed and shattered on impact. Tristan's next move followed immediately. "The eighth style of the 13 Ghost Blades! Nether's Pass!" The strike carried a chilling gale. The sound of wailing ghosts and howling spirits echoed. As it neared, Gideon noticed countless skulls swirling in the wind. They were only shadows, but enough to make one's scalp crawl. They were clawing and snarling, like demons escaping from hell. "Those are party tricks. The heavenly flames will burn through all that flashy nonsense."

With a final shove, he slammed Grayson against the cold metal of the morgue drawer. "This is her. Look at her! Look at the woman you abandoned—my sister!" Liam's voice was an icy blade, sharp and cutting. He forced Grayson to stare at my frozen body, lying there, still and lifeless. Grayson shut his eyes tight, his lips trembling as he muttered incoherently, "No, no, this isn't Belle. This can't be her! She's selfish, cruel, and vindictive. Someone like that doesn't just die—she wouldn't—she couldn't."
