I nodded and said nothing. Xena went back to stand in the middle of the room to face Katie. My teammate was no match for the Beta of Stone Pack and I wondered how she was going to fare. My heartbeat increased as I watched the two of them. “Show me your why you deserve to have Icarus this night, Katie,” I heard the biting mockery in Xena’s voice. Katie lunged at Xena with two blindingly fast nerve strikes but Xena just weaved out of the way. To me, it was like two fairies swirling around the room. I saw everything in slow motion.

They pulled out a black book and it seemed as they were reading something from it as they lifted their hand and a blue blast of energy hit the force field which alerted the warriors as they ran to the blast coming from nowhere. As they got closer, the hooded figure raised its other hand to them and they all fell backwards knocked out or dead, from what it looked like. The forcefield suddenly came down and we saw Xavier coming through in a white t-shirt and jeans, but his shirt was stained, as he must have killed some members trying to pierce the forcefield from his side. The hooded figure kneeled to him and pulled off its hood. Son of a Bitch. It was Katie.

*Author's POV* "Scarlett! Scarlett!!" Xavier screamed as he dropped to his knees and placed her head on his lap, Scarlett had blood oozing out of her mouth. Cassandra who already made herself invisible when she heard his footsteps wasn't pleased to see him crying like a baby over Scarlett. She raised her hand up in an attempt to knock him unconscious so he wouldn't be able to help Scarlett, but then she couldn't do it, she can't afford to see him hurt.

The unexpected kiss made her shocked as hell as she gasped for air. Xavier wiped the slight drool on her bottom lips with his thumb. "Shit!!" He cursed under his breath when he remembered something. He stood up and jogged to the other side of the showroom. He came back after 10 minutes and stood in front of Valentina. He grabbed her hand and pulled her up. Xavier opened the box and took out the pendant. It's a half crescent pink moon with a small star on its edge. Xavier made her wear the pendant and kissed her forehead before whispering,

This solved all the prior problems, but the rest of the armor could be stronger had it not used most of the energy making up for shortcomings. Wanton Destruction was already in front of Xasha, slamming down with a Stone hammer on his head. Xasha flipped his hand and a black scythe appeared. He swung up and cut the stone hammer clean in two. The shock wave from the hammer left a crater in the ground and forced Xasha back.

The Starsoul stood there like a wall alone. As he looked up, he said flatly, "Bullying with numbers, do you have any shame? If you have the ability, come at me." Rumble. Yang Xiao also attacked at that moment. He made a rush run for Robinson. At the same time, Starsoul and the other old monsters clashed. Rumble. Bang! Bang! Bang! The Starsoul had managed to keep all of these old monsters at bay on its own.

They wanted to fight, to assert their dominance to the other nineteen men so bullying and intimidation was rife. Back and forth Killian and I sparred, our feet shuffling around the ring, landing blow after blow, Milo shouted words of encouragement, but I heard nothing. For every blow I landed Killian got three, I could not get Kohl out of my head. Stop it, I hissed inwardly. /Cherish, she needs us/ Kohl whined. Finally I had to give in. Staring up at his handsome face, Calleigh was aware of tiny details. The dark scruff on his chin, though he had shaved just hours before. She’d thought his eyes were black, but now she saw they were a deep brown, with slivers of honey-gold. “And,” he continued in a low voice, lowering his head toward her, “this is where I’m going to kiss you now.” Calleigh trembled all over, her heart pounding like a frantic hummingbird’s wing. She wanted him to kiss her but at the same time, something pushed her to step back again, to push him away with all her might!

My nails slashed his chest till blood began to ooze out. He didn’t look like he was feeling the pain of what I was doing. I slammed my back on Sabastian’s body, gripped Xander’s cheeks, and shook him violently, screaming his name repeatedly. When he glanced at my face, his hands flattened their grip on Sabastian’s neck. His dark eyes slowly switched to blue and he let go of Sabastian. Sabastian fell to the ground with a loud thump, losing consciousness immediately. Aurora choked on her blood when she saw that Xander had been stopped by no one else but ME.

“You will die here, your blood will be mine.” Thane struggled, his free hand grabbing weakly at Xandros’s arm. He felt the claws dig deeper, the pain blinding. Just as Xandros prepared to strike the final blow, a shadow moved in the corner of Thane’s vision. Kane appeared, his spear raised high. Without hesitation, he drove it into Xandros’s side with all his strength. The creature roared, stumbling back as the weapon pierced him. Kane grabbed Thane by the arm, pulling him away.
