A huge fucking silver-furred fox. I step back from Umiko with a frown on my face. I knew she wasn’t a wolf or Lycan, but to be honest, I never expected there to be a fox inside of her. Not only that, but the one I just saw wasn’t a Japanese spirit as one would expect because of her lineage. I’ve met Kitsunes, Kumihos, and even the Chinese Huli jing, so I know what I’m talking about when I say that this thing inside Umiko is entirely different. /“Did you feel that?”/ I ask Baron, and he nods.

Her voice rose like a tide. “Bring forth the bridge. Call the Spirit.” The sphere exploded upward in a column of light, piercing the heavens—and across the veil between worlds, the Spirit heard the call. In a place untouched by time, where stars shimmered within the marble floor and soft wind echoed with divine whispers, Koa emerged. Her fur gleamed with an otherworldly glow, white so pure it refracted with a violet hue, like moonlight striking crystal. Her emerald eyes blazed with intensity as she stepped into the sacred temple of the gods.

It was that moment he felt he wanted to laugh but cannot find he breathe to laugh. "Kira my wind spirit, bring my anger upon those who took me ungrateful, within the gods who bestowed the Wind Spirit Kira, bring me the honor and bring me the justice to those who fall under my grips, you are granted to berserk my spirit." He mumbled to himself, however, that mumbled is not as what the man thought, he was talking to the spirit rampaging in this chamber, a spirit made for war, and a spirit is given by the gods that the East has worshiped.

When we got home, there was Euri, who was enraged when she spotted Kazuo. I could see she was enraged. I can see the flames erupting from her translucent body. This is a furious Demon! "What is this? Why is there a Ghost hanging around you!?" She exclaimed, actually— She isn't upset that Kazuo is hovering around me. She's undoubtedly upset because I failed to keep my promise to her. I understand how concerned she was; conversing with other spirits is a foolish thing to do. I clapped both of my palms, forcibly smiling against each other.

But the voices of the damned who wished to be freed from the underworld and possess bodies of the living. Méah's vision swirled as though the whole world was melting. The voices filled her head that it felt like it's going to explode. While she was numbed at these, Purple Smoke began her ritual. She stood in front of the black crystal, both hands touching the jar where it was enclosed. She murmured an unknown evil language that made Méah even more dizzy. Méah wished to be dead at this moment. It was making her crazy that she began to smash the back of her head on the wall behind her. But Purple Smoke stopped her by freezing her neck forward.

"There's no energy signature, no physical presence, nothing to lock onto. It's a ghost in the machine of the mind." The terrifying, unspoken implication hung in the air: Katherine, with her encyclopedic knowledge of Jack's weaknesses and the tower's defenses, was next. Just then, a quiet, unassuming presence entered the room. It was the old woman, one of the supernatural refugees Jack had granted sanctuary in the tower's protected levels. She was a "Kumiho," a nine-tailed fox from the East, her powers supposedly long since faded with extreme age. Or so they had thought. She wore simple, traditional silk robes and moved with a quiet, unobtrusive grace.

They encountered hostile spirits and treacherous terrain, but their resolve never wavered. Finally, they reached the heart of the Spirit Realm, where the elusive herb grew. It was guarded by a powerful spirit, its presence radiating an aura of immense strength. The spirit spoke, its voice echoing through the realm. “To take this herb, you must prove your worth. Show me your true strength and unity.” Drawing upon their bond, the group faced the spirit in a trial of combat and wit. They fought with everything they had, their abilities complementing each other perfectly. The spirit, impressed by their display of courage and unity, granted them the herb.

The not-an-ordinary-wolf part, I believed, but saying she wasn't like us, was wrong. The Shaman claimed she was closer to the goddess, but we knew that only Spirit Wolves were that way, and Sam did not have metallic coloured fur to classify her as a Spirit Wolf. Was she a crossbreed? The shaman said spirit wolves don't crossbreed, so it left us with a huge dilemma.
