I muttered uneasily. I was now in the room I shared with Kyle. The discussion a few moments ago made Zeeva so angry with my parents that she chose to go to her parents for a while. I instantly remembered Kyle, who was always gentle no matter what our situation was. Even if my parents treated her badly, Kyle never helped or got angry. How is she doing? Will I be able to have a son if I'm still with Kyle? When I was thinking about Kyle, my pair of eyes accidentally saw Kyle's personal safe. During the time we were together, I never looked into the safe. Now my curiosity was aroused.

I shrug. "Sneaky girl. You knew those little kisses would disarm him," he laughs. "I didn't. I was just trying my luck," I refuted, not meeting his stare. "You did. You know Henry likes you," Kyle said, observing me. I feel like a bucket of water has been poured on me. I knew he did, and Kyle teased him about it, but Henry never confirmed it or asked me out. We had sex on my 21st birthday, but we were both wasted. We haven't talked about it in three months!

I had seen pictures of them in his room. It was his mom and sister. “Hello, nice to meet you,” I said while holding my hand towards the mother who shook it warmly before I turned to his sister and shook her hand. “Hello,” they both responded simultaneously. “Who are you to my son and why were you guys arguing?” His mother asked. “I’m his s-” “She’s my girlfriend,” Kyle cut me off. Turning towards him, I could see his eyes were begging me not to say what I was going to him and that he was putting the pregnancy test inside the envelope.

I saw Jed, Dean's half brother teaching some of the children some basic fighting skills and wondered why Dean would entrust kids to his care. " There you are!" Kyle said and I cringed because I had been dreading to talk to him all day and there he was behind me. " Hey..." I said as I turned around and stared at him. He was wearing black tank tops and shorts and was sweating all over his body. " Kyle look, I'm sor -" my words were cut short when he kissed me and wrapped his arms around my waist as he did so. I could tell that all eyes were on us but I couldn't care less.

She didn't know what to say. “What's wrong, Heidi?” Kate sounded confused. “Why are you silent?” Could Heidi trust Kate? She was Steve's sister and closest confidant. What if Kate and Steve were in this together? Or probably- “Shoot! Heidi, my brother's calling me! I'll hang up and call back shortly,” Kate announced and cut the call. Heidi was a bit confused, but she soon forgot about Kate, her thoughts wiring back to the current scandal. Then her phone rang and she almost groaned out loud.

I keep walking, my feet stepping on stones, on branches, and everything there is on the bottom, and soon, I’m right behind him. I wrap my hands around his torso and lean my forehead on his back. It’s quiet, the only sound is the wind touching the water and our breathing. “You're a fucking liar, McDavid. “I whisper, “It's damn cold. “ “Yeah?” He says and still doesn't move. I stand on my toes, my feet digging in the mud on the bottom. “Yes,” I say quietly and kiss his neck. And then Kyle turns around, confusion is written all over his face.

My shoulders sag in disappointment. Reaching out, she rests a hand on my arm. "Hey. We'll figure it out," she tells me. "Yeah I know, it's not over, I'll find another way," I reply. "That's my girl." "By the way, the man you just kissed—people found him online! He is Aiden Kincaid! Billionaire! Quarterback! Every sport lover girl's wet dream!" Kiera thrusts her phone toward me. The screen shows a grainy replay of the kiss cam. My back is front and center, hair spilling down my jacket, while Aiden shows his jawline only.

“I know that I'm not the most attractive man in the world or the richest, but when I'm with her, I feel like I am.” A chorus of awws went through the crowd. Kyle was an average looking man with moderately good looks, but would never be movie star handsome. He had gone the route of shaving his head rather than trying to hide the male-pattern baldness that most of the members of his male family shared. It suited him. “I'd like to thank Katy for bringing her mom and I together,” Kyle said after the pause. “And thank you for my new car!” Katy shouted back. “Best trade in offer ever!” The crowd chuckled and Kyle winked at his soon-to-be step-daughter.

However, this relationship might not be as stable as he thought. Blair recalled and mused. "I almost forgot. You have an engagement, don't you?" Kyle’s parents had arranged his engagement to Xepher’s daughter when he was young. The two families were well-matched, but the arrangement had been put on hold. Their daughter had gone abroad for her studies and rarely returned to Richworth. Kyle replied with his brows furrowed, "That's correct." Blair grinned and asked, "Does your current girlfriend know about your engagement?"

They both share a close bond and a great rapport. Matteo is loyal and taught Kyle everything he knows. Kyle is happy that Matteo found a good girl like Hera in his life.
