"We're going to the tunnels." On the outskirts of Asheville sat a derelict cottage that looked like a ruin to any human eye. Beneath its floorboards lay the entrance to the Labyrinth—a subterranean catacomb and crossroads that connected the "Otherworlds." It was the most dangerous route in existence, a place where geography didn't follow the laws of physics, and where even the Blackwood Pack feared to tread. Back at Stein College The silence of the dorm room was shattered as the door was kicked off its hinges.

But the dark crimson, sluggish pool spreading across the white pages of Introduction to Social Psychology told a different story. The most chilling part wasn't the body. It was the vanity mirror hung on the wall.

The Labyrinth Entry The entrance gaped like a beast’s throat—twenty metres wide, as tall, a stone arch flayed by floodlights so that deep carvings cast jagged shadows. Labrys marks—double axes—glimmered where water ran down grooves older than empires. Cables snaked along the ground, feeding rows of lamps that pushed the dark only so far. The air tasted of oil, hot metal, and men who worked too long. Stephanos slipped inside, keeping low, a mouse that knew the hawks by name.

Joseph replied. "I wish I could stay for some more time. But I guess I have to go. This seems like a long staircase," Ms. Lilac eyed the staircase they reached after walking for 10 minutes. The forest was gone. Everything around them was clouds and a beautiful stairway starting from one end towards the sky. "It just looks like a long one. But it isn't. It is time for you to rest now, ma'am. You've done a great job while you were alive. I hope you will rest well," Joseph bowed his head to her.

Forfeit. The word rang like a death knell through the frigid vault of the Great Hall. Clara felt the world spin, the roaring fire-pits becoming a swirl of orange and black. The Labyrinth of Shadows was a mythical horror of the northern lands, an underground network of tunnels below the stronghold where sick, feral werewolves, whose minds had been lost to the silver madness, were imprisoned. The code for a legitimate, slow execution was to send a lone she-wolf into those dark depths. "No." Dominic growled, and the air itself seemed to turn into static with the hazardous, vibrating hiss.

Lanie The world rematerialized as a barren wasteland before me. Canyons and pits were filled with torture devices. Cries of pain filled the air, making my whole body shudder. I could see black hooded creatures, horned demons, and tortured souls dotting the landscape. There were lava pits, spikes, and spires with bodies strapped onto them being stabbed repeatedly.

It bathed the entire sky in a reddish light that danced as if out of flames; the sky hosting a dance of lights and shadows from mystical worlds. There was a battle between the day that would not go away and the night that was ready to beautify the entire land with its wonders. The last glimmer of the sun struggled in vain to stay in the blackened sky, but slowly faded into the distance, giving way to the mysterious moon that silently rested in the sky, mirroring its beauty into the dark sea. It was accompanied by the little shining jewels that enriched the sky with their glitter, resembling little marbles of ice.
