We collided, claws and teeth flashing in the dark. But I was too angry. My rage made me reckless. Marcus took advantage of an opening in my attack and sank his teeth into my back leg. Searing pain sent me stumbling. Then Lila shifted. A silver she-wolf. Beautiful and deadly. They ganged up on me. I was quickly outmatched. Blood poured from a dozen wounds, staining the warehouse floor red. Finally, I crashed to the ground, unable to get up. Marcus and Lila shifted back, looming over me.

But the warriors, on the other hand, burst into uproar. Lei Bao, Jiu You, and Winsome Widow had been stalking the streets just days before, slaughtering every battle pet that crossed their path while injuring their masters. Hardly any of the warriors could ever fail to recognize them. The roaring crowd parted to let Chu Xun and his companions pass. The Fusang wandering warriors saw Chu Xun coming nearer, and he writhed and convulsed against the chains holding him. "What is he saying?" asked Chu Xun.

He is right, I am the Luna, and it’s about time they know that. ‘Devil warriors! Form a barrier in front of us, prevent the bears from getting to us, if they are anything like us, if we kill their leader then it will be the end of them.’ I say in an open mind link, my warriors waste no time to do as told, they are fast in gathering together and forming a barrier surrounding us. That is amazing to watch, I thought they will have an issue and wait for their alpha to confirm but I guess they can do that after the war. That is if they don’t want to be killed by my mate.

Liam shouted for his mate as the wolves got out of the car but before he could reach his mate, further wolves blocked their way. Their growls menacing as they moved closer to attack. Liam and the warriors shifted, their bodies twisting and contorting as fur sprouted out of their skins. Liam and Owen growled a warning to the rouges as they moved forward together. One of the rouges, clearly the leader of this group, howled before the full gang ran to attack the warriors. Liam and Owen ran faster and encountered two of the rouges at one time before biting and snapping at them with their teeth before bringing four of them down at the one time.

Where have I heard that name from? It suddenly clicked to me. There is the story of a brave and young warrior and werewolf that was told in our Luna school. The first female celebrated war hero in the Moon Pack kingdom. She led the war against the Snow Pack and helped secure a victory against our rival pack. Her and the new Alpha King Zemo who was still a young prince at that time were the leaders of the army and they lead it to victory. This was the victory that sealed the King's throne as the new Alpha King. History was not so clear as to what happened to the brave and courageous Althea. It seemed that she was killed in battle or banished, but it never really occured to us to ask what happ

Maya spit these last words, and the crowd roared, some laughing, some howling with rage. Sasha said nothing. She stood there, fists clenched, her eyes darkening. “You will not disrespect our union.” Her voice was a menacing growl, though a poor imitation of an Alpha. “Don’t ever forget your place, Rogue.” The Warriors laughed. Encouraged by their support, Sasha pointed at the pair of them. “Warriors! Do not let a pair of filthy Rogues disrespect your Alpha and his TRUE Luna!” The Warriors, their anger reignited, surged forward once more. They yanked Maya over the railing, and she was lost in the crowd. All I could hear were her screams of terror.

The chattering and arguments continued, people throwing out different theories and assumptions. But one thing everyone agreed on— That sexy-looking female warrior was not someone to provoke. The image of how she slaughtered the Blue Rain warrior would be engraved in their minds for a long time. It would haunt many of the men who had harbored lewd thoughts about her just moments ago. I returned my attention to the screen in the sky. Another scene was playing out. A group of warriors was surrounded by twelve strange creatures. They looked like werewolves but had horns and large wings sprouting from their backs, giving them a terrifying and unnatural appearance.

I was dumbfounded, and I didn't understand why the Warriors didn't support each other against Rogues but slaughter each other. Elias clenched his fist. "Because they want to compete for the top spot. As I said, this is no longer a contest; it's more like a real war, and only the winner is the last one standing. Moreover, in the process of fighting with Rogues, warriors will kill them and steal the silver fangs that are worn around their necks. By the end of the third day, whoever is alive and has the most gamblers becomes the winner. So the warriors would hide in the forest to save their strength, usually until the last day they showed up and slaughtered each other."

Nora’s POV The leader staggered back, his nose bleeding. He roared, his eyes blazing. He lunged at Leo, his claws out. A fight broke out, a blur of fists and blood. The other warriors joined in, some of them trying to separate them and some of them cheering them on. Thick, slimy dread gnawed at my stomach as I watched them fight. I wanted to help Leo, but I was no match for the warriors.

Oshiro grinned. "Congratulations second team, you did an excellent job. The remaining group will still face another golgozur dinosaur before we proceed to the next stage of the training!" Prince Arthur snapped his finger and a t-rex appeared in front of them. And the last four zodiac warriors to try are Ammon with Taurus sign, Atlas with Virgo sign, Loki with Scorpio sign and Apollo with Sagittarius sign. They wasted no time and immediately targeted the dinosaur's mouth and defeated it without much effort.
