“Don’t control it. Let it burn the rot!” Behind her, Lilith appeared. Cloaked in shadow, face twisted in fury. “You dare use my magic?” Lilith launched a curse. Rhea raised her hand. The spells met mid-air. And shattered the sky. --- For one terrifying moment, time stopped. Black fire rained down from the heavens. The battlefield fell silent. Then, screams. Lilith staggered back—burning. Her scream echoed for miles. Her body cracked, split, and imploded into ash.

It was the perfect time for Lilith to dominate. Lilith sneered in a certain direction when the scent intensified and spread out in the air. She turned to the lake, watching its reflection. The still water was slightly vibrating, and they both watch as the shadow behind moved. A figure appeared and in the blink of an eye, Lilith was already on her feet and was about to shift when something was fired. It wasn’t a gun with a silver bullet. It was a taser bullet that paralyzed her entire system, halting the shift. Leal panicked and tried to surface as she saw a masked man emerge from the shadows, holding an empty taser gun.

Damien POV: The moon cast a soft luminescence through the windows of my chamber as night enveloped the estate in its mysterious embrace.
