"Maiden orphan? Who are your parents?” Freya took a deep swallow. "Her conscience is weighing in on her. She must be afraid that I am that child." She faked a smile. "I know nothing about my parents. I grew up with my deceased aunt.”

She fell quiet, her brows furrowed. “You said you want to tell me something,” Lyra looked at me, and I nodded. I leaned back in my chair and took a breath. “There’s a reason I never told you before. I was waiting. Waiting to see if you would inherit any powers. And now… I suppose it’s time you knew.” “Knew what?” she asked quietly. “That you come from a long line of powerful women, Lyra. Women who were born with special gifts. Some could see the future. Some could manipulate elements - air, earth, water, and fire. Others, like me, had the ability to heal using herbs and the energy of flowers.”

She crossed her arms on her chest, and Kandrix felt like he couldn’t solve this situation. “I am so sorry, Freya. I was just here for a few days. If it bothers you this much, I can pack my bag and go back to my pack,” Lilith came behind them and sobbed while clutching her daughter Elyra. “Thank you so much for reading the situation effectively,” Freya answered in a flat tone. “FREYA!!!
