"In the midst of that rogue attack, probably in a state of panic, Andrea agreed to give Serenity to a werewolf who could control the rogues. The werewolf promised to keep her safe from the rogues, and Andrea blindly trusted him. To cut a long tale short, the werewolf turned on her and made the rogues kill her. In that battle, I lost my own mate, and my brother. Left with nothing else, I took Serenity who was barely a month old, and escaped from that hellhole. And three months later,

I voiced out, raising my tone, and lacing it with the proper amount of anger. “Your pack?” The wolf growled with intrigue. “Where were you when we had to bury our families after your stupid mate took us warriors to that forsaken sacred pack.” I froze. His words cut through me like a poisoned dagger. He can’t be talking about the sacred pack. No. Lucian. What had he done? What had he done to those innocent people? Within the words he had just said, it was clear now that he is one of Lucian’s warriors—at least he was. But he seemed to have lost a loved one, and that was he was out here—drunk with revenge.

I was too happy, too lost in this human, yet profoundly lupine, ecstasy. I had just had my first change, had truly become a werewolf, and now I was receiving the most devastating, soul-shattering head from my Alpha, my husband, in this sacred woods. His wolf was similar to mine, silver-furred and innocent. “Ow!” I winced as I stepped down from the bed. Liam stared at me with cute, glowing, innocent eyes. I shuffled closer and fondled its neck. Tears trickled down my cheeks. Niamh pranced in joy, seeing her mate transform. Liam grunted and I laughed. I wrapped around its neck and pushed my body against its soft, comfy fur. Lucian is the evil one, not his wolf. Liam suddenly raised its leg, pushing me away. It moved back, still staring innocently at me. It turned to the window, jumping out. Lucian is such an evil soul. He wouldn’t even allow me to enjoy the moment. I sniffed and returned to the bed. ~Lucian~

Bones cracked and elongated, black fur exploding across his skin as his amber eyes burned with raw fire. He met the nearest champion with teeth and claws, the collision so violent that the ground split open beneath their weight.
