Liza was still lost in her thoughts and attempting to cool down her overheated body when she heard the mattress of the bed creaking, which grabbed her attention, only to see Hunter sitting on the side of the bed, peering intently into her eyes. Liza's forehead furrowed in confusion as she straightened up, spun around to face Hunter, and stared at him with sharp stares. "Even the way you gave me your deadly stares looks so sexy," Hunter stated with a grin. Liza did not even respond to what Hunter said; rather, she continued to give him stern stares as though she were trying to communicate her annoyance with him.

Hunter punched her chin tighter, "You won't be able to hurt anyone after tonight. You will regret coming back to our lives after tonight, Zara Levine." "Will I?" Zara smirked provocatively. But she wasn't prepared for what was coming. Hunter dug into his pocket for the syringe while grabbing Zara's neck with another hand. "What are you— aah!" A wince escaped heras Hunter plunged the needle into her neck, releasing the fluid with a steady press on the pump. "You mongrel! What did you do?" She slammed her fist into his chest angrily. "Nothing severe! Just gave you your own medicine." Hunter let her go with a jerk and stepped back, a satisfied look on his face.

Hunter finishes with a hard look. “So you’re-” He cuts me off. “A hybrid. Half Undead, half werewolf. My brothers are pure werewolves.” Wow. I realize that I said that out loud when I hear Hunter’s laughter, his eyes crinkling with amusement. “Glad you think so, little mate.” He presses his lips to my forehead before gazing at me adoringly, caressing my cheek with his thumb. We stay outside for few more hours, just talking and getting to know each other.

He didn't think Blaze would mind exchanging a few words with them. "Well, many of my guys are here too; they also want to meet you." Blaze stared at him dumbfounded. "What, now I'm a celebrity?" He looked Hunter straight in the eye. "when did I begin to sign autographs, Hunt?" "You don't," Hunter winced as he replied. He shouldn't have bothered to ask. "That's right, so tell your guys to find something else to do. Or you can tell them to go meet Axel." "Whatever you say." Hunter nodded. He backed away, watching as Lily made her way towards Blaze. They looked perfect together, and the look in her eyes when she looked at Blaze was unmistakably one of a lady in love. This had to be the happiest

The room’s shadows seem to cling to them, amplifying their menacing presence. The hunter’s eyes scan the room, cold and calculating. They spot me, and for a moment, their gaze seems to pierce right through me. There’s a flicker of recognition, but then they’re turning their attention back to Luke. The hunter pulls out a weapon—a sleek, silver blade with intricate engravings that catch the light.

"Elara, you have long enough darkness remaining under cover. You ought to know the truth about everything at last. His comments had such weight and finality that I could sense the earth under me change. I started not knowing whom to believe. Celia laughed maniacally and ground her cigarette butt into one of Lumina's burn wounds, leaving a black hole in Lumina's wrist. "Are you finally getting it, Lumina? A loud thunderclap awakened me in the middle of the night. I tried to open my eyes even though my eyelids were heavy, and my body ached as if it was about to separate the joints.
