Joseph looked around his living room, and he saw the mess he had made. The couch was covered in crumpled-up clothes, and there were empty pizza boxes strewn across the floor. The trash can was overflowing, and there were dirty dishes in the sink. He knew the maid would be horrified if she saw the state of the place.
