Picking up the adorable pup, I placed him on my lap and started playing with him. "What's his name?" I asked, looking up at Hayden as he finished dressing. "Marley," he replied, his tone blank. I smiled down at the cute little creature. Marley had white fur and the most adorable brown eyes. He was tiny and smelled of soap and milk. "Maya sent me up here to get you," I informed Hayden, catching a glimpse of him rolling his eyes. "Let's go," he said, and I looked up, giving him a questioning look before shaking it off. Instead, I got up and was about to walk out of the door he opened, but he grabbed my arm.

This one being close to the coordinates I plugged in. Platforms are different then the bracelets I have grown used to. While my old bracelet could take me to any location that wasn't protected by a security wall, a platform can only teleport you to another platform. It chooses the closest one to the coordinates you put in and then you walk to your destination. Not as efficient as the bracelets, but lower in cost and still handy. I inhale deeply and sigh. Grade B.” “Grade?” I raise a brow, confused. “A Grade basically tells how dangerous a person is. And before you ask, the difference between A’s and B’s is that A’s have committed murder.” “But mine is asterisked?” “It’s never been given before but I’m guessing it means numerous counts of murder.” Yeah. Another blue dot appeared. After a few seconds the increasing number of blue dots was enough to bring a full smile on her face.

He whispered the last part, like he was afraid Alicia might hear him. Terry chuckled in disbelief. "Dark magic?" Terry raised an eyebrow looking at Drumbo, then back at Alicia who was rubbing her laps looking at him. He smiled. "I have no problem with that Drumbo and..." He was cut off by a call on his phone. "Who the fuck is calling me?" He hissed. He looked at the screen, rolling his eyes before answering the call. "Torento doesn't want you calling unless you've got good news." "We found the motel they're staying in." At hearing this Terry sat up quickly in attention.

It took almost 2 months for me to recover from that shock and pain. I check the time, it is almost 9 and if I don't make it to Amber's place on time, she will get worried. It is only 30 minutes drive to Merced. So, I turn on the music and turn around the driveway.
